That would be cool but we would still be stuck with the bad voice

acting/translating. For now we are stuck with the ones on Ebay.

Not sure what's all involved with the Japanese releases but personally I have no problem whatsoever with the recent badly dubbed series. One I however would like to see released is this Beast Wars Neo damn near everybody keeps raving about. Mind you I have yet to see any of the Beastwars on dvd, but from what I understand it's the best incarnation of the TFs yet. :thumb

i dont mind reading subtitles.. but then we'd also get stuck with cheezy japanese themesongs with lost in translation..translations lol. anybody notice that? how their theme songs sound alot like..."my heart flys over the mountains and through the forest, enchanted memories, u will always have a place in my heart, our destiny is now!" lol...

besides that... it would be neat so finally get to see the actuall cartoons of the toys we'd only see in commercials! im all for it!

Japanese OP theme songs are cheesy? This is interesting, IMO the US versions are just as bad if not worse. As for the reading of subtitles that is strictly due to a lack of practice. If you watch foreign films made in Japan, France, Germany, China, Thailand, et al, you cannot expect them to be redubbed into English. Anyone who has ever taken one film studies course can tell you, reading subtitles is not that hard, it just takes practice. When we were young, none of us could not even read, let along understand how individual letters could form a word, and words could form a sentence. It took practice to learn that skill and the same holds true with reading subtitles.

I am all for releasing the JP versions of the various TF anime series. You’d be amazed how much cool stuff, toys, commercials, models, etc that exist in JP and are advertised in comparison to US tv shows. I’d buy a dvd set of they had one, but so far I haven’t found one yet.

usually if you watcha subbed show for about 15 miuntes your eyes adjust to taking in all the info...lord knows 98% of the anime I've watched was subbed...

English Translation

I want to change the world

Piercing through the gales, unafraid of anything,

Now I hold my courage and pieces of my smile

Change my mind

If we reach out to the soaring future

without losing our passion, we'll be able to shine,

It's wonderland

**thinks of the Yu Yu Hakusho theme song** Tell me how in the hell this relates to this series.. Yeah.. don't get me going on Ruroni Kenshin..

I'd like to see it just for curiousity's sake.. but I don't think I'd be able to take too much post G1 movie eps than what I've already seen. Honestly.. they make me want to shoot myself. :redface

So what?! That does not prove anything, not all JP OP theme songs are cheesy, especially in comparison to US shows. More often than not the US shows have horrible redubbing and craptacular OP songs as well. I rather have cheesy over crap anyday. Also, not all anime tv shows are created for kids, don't assume all have cheesy OP theme songs.

Besides does the song RUIN the anime series or the fact you are watching a TF series? Hell NO. If you don't like the OP song ignore it, it ends soon enough anyways.
