Actually it's had 5 different color schemes. The four you mentioned plus a repaint as "Sonic Attack Jet" aka jet drone for the BM line.

P.P.S. I *liked* BM Megatron. ...Well, I *tried* really hard to like him. He had the "wings covering him" thing that they did in the show, even making them look all techno on the outside and all icky and beasty on the inside (Madhammer loves him some symbolism :D). And the figure was colored nicely.... eh I'm running out of things to say. :redface Dangit I really wanted to like him. If he had just had a regular BW Megs head and had come with the control harness, I might have overlooked his general tiny-ness. As it is though, it just doesn't work. (It would also have been a nice touch to add some "techno" elements to his beast mode to make him look more like he did in the show. That half-robot half-dragon thing just creeps me out for some reason. Maybe I'll buy a Cryotek and mix and match parts with my TM2 Megs... :nuts)

 

P.P.P.S. Hey MP, does that sequence where Megs returns to 'bot mode & folds his wings around him remind you of that evil Nazi bird thing from PF: The Wall? Well it did me... (ooh teh MORE symbolism)

And MH, honestly, yeah I did see that/feel that way about the way it was animated. Wow, good eye there bucko.

And yeah, BM Megatron fig...

Its really like probley THE ONLY MB fig I hate. Mainly size, but also because of all the times when a repaint was being cried out for for hasbro to do, its was then and they totally missed that boat. (of TM2 megs)

 

Anyway, I made mine cooler so he could stay with the rest.

#1 took the arms off of a Lost In Space Movie robot figure. (one arms looks like the spark extractor) and attached them to the upper part of the cape/wings. They kinda fold back in beast mode out of the way. This gives the look of the control harness when in Mumu mode.

 

#2 and easy to do: All those nine zillion twist ties that hasbro sends us? well get a bunch of the longs ones (unicron's are perfect length)

take the long ones, and well twist them together in a LONG ASS rope, leaving one or 2 sticking out on one end, about 2 inches.

Then take the little bit sticking out, and twist them into a short umbrella hook. This you will wrap around Megs neck.

Take the other end, (one of the stands from your new twist-tie rope) and make a smaller hook and attach it to a thumbtack.

 

NOW... above your BeastMachines shelf, near the army of Vehicons, tack it to the wall, so that Megs is hovering, with arms (the added ones) raised out.

 

It makes the guy, like very visualy pleasing in a set up. (just ignore in Non-Imensefullness, and his "My Arms are my Tummy" transformation, and voila!!!)
