WTF was Megabolt/Megatron?

Recommended Posts

He was the only head of my Brave Max for the longest time. I wish they could have developed that into the show.

Well the bug legs are easily removed, if I remember correctly. I like 'em, though. Makes him creepier.

So i finally bowed to Peer preasure (aka Marcuprime and fillintheblank-Madhammer) And bought a BeastWars DVD - now it was Season2 - but I am a convert - and anyway i have always enjoyed the Transmetals figures (even though i am not a fan of Beach-boy-MunkypooFling-prime) That all being said - i have heard completely mixed reviews of Machine Wars...but i have faith that you are right and if i saw the show (which has yet to come out on dvd right?) i would appreciate him more. So i am still confused? Is he TyrannosaurMegs mixed with BW-Unicron's floaty head?

Whats the puropse of turning from a robot into a spider thing into a floaty head?

Unicron only did that cause he was blown up (not his optimal Alt mode for sure)

Shadow ES - i can dig him out of storage this weekend and we can set up a trade or something. He is complete, no box, though i may have his CARD saved some where - again I will check storage -PM me.

Beast Machines, babe. It's a long story but, essentially BW TM2 megs tried to eliminate his beast mode......eventually having the floating head; which never had a robot mode on the show. It was more a flying base type thing.

I don't want to say much else cuz that would give away the entire storyline.

No during the beast machine run Megatron was trying to get all the organic material out of his system and return him to a true mechanical being. While doing this his consciousness skipped around to different forms and different locations. He was Savage/Noble, then he took over his drone for a while, then became the floating head/space craft, then built Optimal Optimus's body and put his head on it.

The toy was just a version of the head, the transformation to robot mode didnt exist in the BM cartoon. So this was acompletely new sculpt and an original idea for a robot using an existing alt mode.

I personally like it, but wish there was more to the toy.

from what i remember, megabot floted over a city controled by the vehicons and megatron. he was freggin huge! in his head mode he hits on top of fort max if you take off the legs (the toy that is) :tfevil :tfevil

Yeah, the bot mode is just kind of a hypothetical robot mode, but I assume that if Megabolt ever did (or could) transform, that's what he would've looked like. It's sort of a generic robot body with a head reminiscent of BW Meg's original form, but I like to think that's what Megatron's Cybertronian form would've looked like, prior to the Beast Wars. The body, not the alt mode...

... in his head mode he hits on top of fort max if you take off the legs (the toy that is) :tfevil :tfevil

That's what I said.
