yeah that combo sucks, no offense meant, but that's worse than fattimus rangers, actually it looks like they finally got 2 rangers from vehicle and animal universes to merge for one megazord :tdown hopefully it get's better

Individually I like the Liger Toy. But as an appendage for Prime its a NO NO.

I like the beast wars toys, and will be picking up more then a few of these if they continue on this line.

I think you guys are missing the POTENTIAL here...

I can just picture Optimus Prime having multiple arm attachments from Animalia (or whatever they are called), Speedia, Cybertron, and Earth, able to be fitted on either arm, in addition to his backpack, and a couple even being able to become full-body armors...

Essentially it is taking powerlinx with minicons (Armada) and other mainline fighters (energon) to the next logical step, as should be expected w/ a plotline occuring, supposedly, after Armada and Energon. It leaves a ton of possibilities, and Takara is getting really good at having combiners that don't sacrifice the primary modes (as evidenced by the latter energon -- tow-line excluded -- and the combiners)...

I'm really getting psyched at this, esp. the pictures in the gallery. I don't think all the beast guys look good, but they are different enough to make it quite clear they are different from the other planets.

Bleah.....hideous...just hideous ;)

I think Liger as an arm looks pretty bad.

In other news, Flame Convoy looks 1000 times better painted.

:pfx If the final version keeps those colors, he will have the best non-repaint colorscheme ever. :thumb He's almost like BW Dinobot and TM2 Megs combined!

I don't mind beasties.. it just took me some time getting used to the concept of them though.. I'm talkin waaaay back. Before I rehashed the collection schemes.. But this guy combining with Prime?? I dunno about that.

I don't mind beast alt modes so much, it's just the transformation of beast TFs that usually turns me off. Too many of them reuse limbs in both modes, or are basically robots inside of an animal-shaped shell - almost like Pretenders with shells that don't come completely off. I think Divebomb in Energon really had the right idea for beast transformations. Cruellock on the other hand is a good example of what not to do.

Thank you. That's been my sentiment all these years, and I've never been able to say it succintly without ranting.

This is why I DON'T mind the Dinobots or Predaking.

ok ok ok ok ok...BACK ON TOPIC!!!

First...Liger seems to have a lot of qualities of TM Cheetor or more TM Ravage/Tigertron, which isn't a bad thing...though even has the tail.

So are all the Beastformers going to augment characters? just that one for Prime? Will others augment as well?
