No, it's fair. We need a set of Autobots made from a reusable mold. These being cars, and at what I assume is a lower price point, Hasbro won't have any excuse as to why they can't sell them here. Still, knowing Hasbro, and whatever safety problems might pop-up, I'll stick with Takara-Tomy.

I like Sideswipe more than either of those 2 guys.

What kind of accessories can we expect? Gun (yeah), jetpack? If we get a jetpack, would they make it so that MP Convoy could wear it too? What about his drill he used in Fire in the Sky?

 

All I can say is if he comes with a Megatron gun, Matrix and/or cape and crown I'm going to be pissed.

As long as he isn't over priced like the Masterpiece line has been in recent years. There is no way I'm paying over £100 for him. They've developed a nasty habit of charging high prices for products that have terrible quality control.

Wasn't the QC problems only really with the Rodimus Convoy releases? I hadn't really heard of any problems with the older releases.

I agree & posted a similar reply response on page one in this thread.

 

I would have preferred all the popular high ranking faction leaders & second in commands received the MP TF toy treatment first.

Like Galvatron,Cyclonus,Shockwave,Sixshot,Overlord,Starsabre & victoryleo,deathsauras.

 

My main problem is sideswipe is a extremly low ranking soldier & a general nobody. he doesn't deserve the MP TF toy treatment.

 

I hate it when Hasbro/Takara cancel TF sub/side lines. because they get antsy/crazy & start putting stuff everywhere & anywhere.

Had alternators/BT or alternity not been cancelled than this MP Sideswipe toy would have been created under the alternators/BT or Alternity toy line & package label/banner.

what makes you so sure? MP-1 came out during the Alt/BT's line. They still put a Convoy/Prime in that line any ways.

exactly but it only takes 1 problem to put a bad taste in people's mouths and turn them into naysayers.

i totally disagree with this statement...sideswipe is one of my favorite G1 characters...he had a decent role in the first couple of seasons of the toon....he got a classics toy..he got a BT...he got a reissue..nobody?...that doesnt say nobody to me...just becuase hes not a leader or some over hyped fanboy character doesnt mean hes a nobody...i for one am looking forward to this release..

Sideswipe is definitely one of the better known of the original Transformers, my only worry is they do not do him justice in his MP toy
