I'd love a MP Wheelie, actually. He was the only character to kill someone onscreen in the original cartoon, after all. With a slingshot. We need a MP Wheelie that can ride on Grimlock's shoulders. And has a slingshot.

Nah, with the endless repaint possibilities, this has Takara written all over it. Hasbro has been much more conservative with their MP mold reuse.

I don't think they will ever make a MP Galveston just because there isn't a lot of of repaint / retool possibilities to bring out.....

I was thinking the same thing, but MP Megs doesnt have any real repaint options either. But he is a core character so they released him, and Galvatron is a core character too so he could get a release.

This could go on and on....

I'm excited for this news. I always liked Sideswipe, probably because the Countach was the most awesome car for a kid to like in the 80s outside of a flying Delorean.

I find it interesting that Takara got rights to use the Lamborghini image, since Lambo is now a VW company (and we all know how VW feels about killer robots from outer space). I think it's a nice change of pace from all the SS/OP molds they keep rehashing in the line.

 

Although... one can imagine all the repaints you'll get out of this. MP Breakdown, MP Red Alert....

You are probably right. And that is fine considering I transform them once or twice and then its back to bot mode for display on the shelves.

Sure wish they would've done this for DOTM Mirage....

The classic Sideswipe mold is a Lamborghini, so MP-12 isn't Galvatron big deal, we'll get one eventually so no worries. Takara probably has others they want to do before they do Galvatron.
