Thank you for answering my question. Looks very fun to transform. :thumb

Magmatron can be tricky... Alt. Grimlock for sure... Alt. Skids... Energon Mirage... BW Neo Big Convoy... BWII Lio Convoy...

Btw, I find it amusing to see mx-01 archon bragging about his abilities to transform our hard-to-transform stuff. The guy really knows everything.

:D  What can I say, I'm just damned good :P

And BTW, with Superion Maximus, the key is to use your thumb to keep the connector from sliding back up into the leg.

As for Alt. Skids, I wasn't even aware there was any issue with getting his hood closed.  It's simply never happened with me *shrug*.  There's nothing in there to get in the way of his head transformation, so if the head's folded down all the way, and the gun's snapped into the socket properly, then you should be good to go.

As a non-instruction user, I'll admit that Skids confused me a bit at first.  Namely, the two joints in his backpack that are never actually used.

Wow... hearing all these woes about Alternators sure makes me glad that I collected Binaltech. :)

...fun... yes... my students thought the same thing.

Binaltech are no different than Alternators (aside from the paint chipping). People only mention Alternators because that's what they have.

BW Rampage tank mode...period :tflaugh

I tried that annoying guy again to day and I connot get his Tank mode correct!!

The problem I have with Rampage's tank mode is getting it to roll, not to transform it.  Transforming's the easy part, as everything snaps into place on him.

Ultimum Prime: Most BTs don't paint chip. The first Smokescreen did have some issues with paint chipping, but Takara fixed that improved the durability of their paints with all subsequent BTs.

Also, this is not the only board/thread where I have heard these complaints about Alternators' panels not fitting in properly and so forth, problems which BTs don't seem to have. From what I've read, Alts like Battle Ravage and Shockblast are inferior constructions compared to their BT counterparts. I picked up Alt Wheeljack (I intend to use him for a custom - Alternator Slicer!) and he is greatly inferior to my BT Wheeljack in so many ways.

Anyway, getting back On Topic... I agree that BT/Alt Grimlock/Wheeljack is really hard to transform. The inherent difficulty with this transformation scheme is that it's counter-intuitive.

I agree with this agreement.  Grimmy's hurting my hands and head!
