Hardest Transformers to transform

Recommended Posts

Landfill I still need instructions to assemble properly. Sideburn...wow...he was fun.

Actually while he was tricky, I got skybyte down eventually

A lot of folks seem to be having trouble with Alt Tracks so here's a little advice. When transforming him look very closely at the little pegs that hold the side fenders on in car mode near the windshield. These little pegs are what make the legs hard to transform. After those are "unplugged" if you will, you should be able to get at the knees pretty easily. This advice works for other Alts as well, just look closely at the little hard to find pegs that hold cetain parts in place, they can be the key to some difficult transformations

which alt/bt took you the longest and gave you the most anguish to transform???

so far Alt Grimmy takes me the longest

I go wih Tracks...

Getting Tracks legs unfolded is always an effort.

I also consider Grimlock to be a PITA, but more because mine pops apart so easily, there isn't really anything inherently difficult about his transformation scheme once you figure it out (I consider him to be the one that was most difficult to learn, however).

At first, Smokescreen was the hardest. Then after some figuring out how the legs are supposed to be in alt mode he was cake.

But now Tracks is a real pain in the butt...

Tracks, getting his legs out is a pain

Grimlock and Alt Windcharger are do-able without instructions

doing grimlock without popping off the doors is an acheivement in itself ;)

Grimlock, but I always have problems with the Vipers on the right way to fold the arms back.

*as previously stated in other "Alt. Hardest to Transform" thread*

I think each one had a problem spot, at least that I've experienced:

--Smokescreen/Silverstreak: folding the legs back up in vehicle mode seamlessly.

--Sideswipe/Dead End: the door/shoulders feel like they're going to snap or bend whenever I turn them.

--Hound/Swindle: connecting the waist and then disconnecting it is like trying to open a locked car door without your key sometimes.

--Tracks/Battle Ravage: the frickin' legs. Enough said.

--Meister: the hood, or at least preventing it from popping off every now and then.

--Grimlock: the "head-through-hood" design makes me want to kill every time I screw with it. Wheeljack is going to be a Starscream with those fins.
