Thanks to Kapow Toys, we have learned that Hasbro will be releasing Shockwave, Jazz, and Optimus Prime as a tie into the Transformers Fall of Cybertron video game. This is similar to when Hasbro released select deluxe class figures based on the Transformers War for Cybertron designs under the Generations toyline a couple of years back, but it is unknown what line these figures will be released under. The figures are set for a May 2012 release, ahead of the Fall of 2012 release date for the video game, but we do not have images of the figures just yet. We are expecting some first looks at the figures at Toy Fair 2012, which we will be on-hand to bring you the latest news on February 11th! Read the Full News Story Here

Let's hope they release a Grimlock figure too. :tfevil

I kinda want to see some FOC toys in the voyager, ultra & leader size scales.

If the FOC 2012 figures are only deluxe size, then I probably won't buy any.

The bigger scale FOC 2012 toys I'd like to see is as follows:

1- leader sized Trypticon

2- leader sized omega supreme

3- voyager size grimlock

4- ultra sized megatron

5- voyager sized optimus prime

6- voyager sized starscream & his eventual seekers repaints.

an Ironhide that doesn't suck

Shockwave I will hold out on judgement until I see him though I'm sure I will be buying him regardless. Optimus is no surprise, what would be a surprise is if they didn't add him to the mix again

Got to build my alternate G1 Shelf LOL

Though I am hoping Hasbro realized that the WFC would sell in Voyager, Though I would pay $50 for a Leader Class FOC Shockwave

This is really cool, but did we need another OP? That slot could have been filled by another figure, say like GRIMLOCK.

Hahaha! Someone was listening to me when I shouted Shockwave at Botcon 2010. Really surprised they didn't cave on the countless requests for Starscream and no Grimlock is disappointing. Although 3 figures is hardly an indication of how many FOC figures there will be in total. Hopefully more and at a voyager size. Thats where I hope to find Grimlock and maybe Megatron.

Last I'd heard there were 8 figures planned, but that was for Generations an not necessarily FOC.

I'd love to see Omega Supreme and Trypticon get some attention. Dinobots are a must, and aren't there supposed to be Insecticons somewhere in the game too? I'll take a couple of those.

3- voyager size grimlock

4- ultra sized megatron

5- voyager sized optimus prime

That is one hell of a wish list. I still see Cliffjumper and Megatron warming pegs everywhere I look/shop. I'm happy enough we're getting some deluxes. And awesome character choices this time around. But unless this game hits immensely bigger than a sleeper hit like the first one, you'll probable have to wait til a 3rd game to see anything but deluxes. And I don't see this going anywhere storywise with a 3rd game that's gonna hit as big with the older crowd/G1ers/built-in-fanbase, nor being inventive play-wise enough to really lure away the Call of Duty or Halo gamer crowd (not that those games are necessarily re-inventive with each reiteration), or striking while the TFs iron is hot dumb-luck/perfect timing as the first one as much (even though I loved the hell out of it).

But, yay Shockwave!

They are an enemy type but whether or not Shrapnel, Kickback and Bombshell themselves will appear is unconfirmed. But given High Moon's penchant to fan service I doubt they'd include an entire horde of Insecticons and not have the big 3 show up in some capacity.
