May be some more detailed sketches? Just kidding but really it looks like your plans for this just might work. So find those vehicles already and get started so we can drool over it! And wish we made it!

I'm researching the appropriate alternators now.

It sounds like most of it as far as robot modes will probably need to be mad from scratch or by combining different Alts like I did w/ my Rodimus Prime by combining the legs and torso from Smoke screen using his head andusing the arms from Side swipe as well as the double hinge from Side swipe.

It's going to be a combination of scratchbuilding and altbashing. I'm planning on using the original constructicons for reference, and then custom buiding their bodies for the colaboration of parts.

So far, the smokecreen series of alts looks good for the arms, while legs will probably come from the sideswipe series. Heads can be built as needed. But what concerns me most is the required transform joints for the project. I'll keep all of you posted.

I've done some looking around, and I can't seem to find any construction vehicle model kits suitable for kitbashing Constructicons out of. :(

Finding those vehicle models could be hard. If you have similar wheels, you could use plastic sheets and rods to make the vehicle since construction vehicle is more angular than passanger vehicle. It should not be too hard.

I have trouble to find the suitable wheels though!

I had an idea on this last night at work and here it is : If you use a truck and trailer make the arms, head, chest and upper legs from the truck and use the trailer as a shield. I`ll try to sketch it up at work tonight if I get it done I`ll post it tomorrow morning. If I don`t get it done tonight I`ll work on it tomorrow night and hopefully I can have it done by Thursday morning. If not I`ll finish it up Thursday while I`m off.
