I'm in the minority here I guess. I'm a MISB/MOSC collector. Between G1 figures I buy loose, convention boxed and loose TFCC figures, and all the TFs my kids get I still get plenty to transform so I'm good.

Open. Always open. If I just wanted to stare at it, I could look up and download the pictures online. It'd save me a hell of a lot of space too while I was at it. :tflaugh

 

But to me, these are toys. They're meant to be played with, albeit some more carefully than others. Transform 'em! Have 'em strike a pose! That sort of stuff.

I open mine. I'm a believer offreeing them from their cardboard and plastic prisons. My feelings are while I do collect and display them, and play with them from time to time, they are ultimately meant to be enjoyed opened. Certain ones I doe keep in their boxes. I have some that I've opened and applied stickers, transformed a few times and then back in he box.
