Korean version is just as good as Has/Tar.

cool...thanks..

The Korean releases are done by Sonokong, under license from Takara. (Just as Hasbro releases the Transformers in the US, under license from Takara.)

While they're generally the same quality as the HasTak releases, they're released at the tail end of the American or Japanese lines, or years after the line ends, if there's any issues with the molds they're in full effect on the Sonokong figures.

Be careful when opening Sonokong packages. One of their releases I picked up (think it was a Microman set), I slid my finger along the inside of the box to pry open the flap and ended up slicing open my finger due to a hard plastic tray they had packed the figure in.

They are of the same quality as long as it is Sonokong. Only difference really is the packaging that is it. And Sonoking does the same paint apps as Takara. So your really getting the Takara version of the figure for less then the same figure in the Japanese packaging.

so does that mean....let take noisemaze for example..the silver on his wings...it will be the shiny chrome silver instead of the dull silver of the US release?

I've got Korean Brave Maximus and a few BWII and BWNeo toys - I've never had any problems with the quality of the figures themselves. The only issues I've had have been:

+ Tech spec cards are crap -- if you even GET one... or even the right one

+ Packaging quality's not as nice

+ One of Brave Max's stickers was applied upside down

...but the figures themselves have been fine. Sometimes the Korean names can be interesting, like Autocrasher is called "Autoslasher." I've never gotten any Korean GF figures so I can't comment about them I'm afraid.

Should be, My Big Convoy, BW Galvatron, JRX, and Brave Sky Death Garry have been exact copies of the Takara ones. I have no idea what gok is talking about with the cards. I've always gotten the right card with mine and the tech specs are good

cool...thanks for the info guys....looks like i got a few purchases to make...

Yeah, I haven't had problems with the Korean figures at all and I love them! I was able to find a few Korean Beast Wars Neo figures that were amaxing in quality and now that you've mentioned it...it looks like I may be looking into Galaxy force.

Hey, does anyone know if there's a Korean Classics version of the Classics/ Generations toys?
