First looks at Transformers Prime Starscream Action Figure!

Recommended Posts

And that is what you are only looking at Atmo, What he looks like, and ignoring the rest. Look I don't care for the movie Starscream and how he looks, and the only Movie Starscream figures I own are the Protoform from the first movie, and the Leader class Starscream. He may not look it, but he does act like G1 Starscream.

But from what I can tell, all you care about is a head and smirk, that does not define a character at all, you have to look at the restof what defines a character, man. And by constantly getting all mad, and name calling, nobody is going to give you the time of day. All your doing there is getting people to stay away

We get it that you don't like Movie Starscream, and in your personal canon he isn't thats cool right there. However in a official capacity he is Starscream as Hasbro does run the official part of things

I looked at the actions. They're dead on. But I'm sorry. The appearance is more important than you're saying. An ugly hideous TF that acts like SS is still not SS unless he looks the part as well....And a fat abomination with a vague few SS parts slapped on him simply is not enough.

His smirk and ability to emote are just as important as Shockwave having 1 eye

He is smirking in your sig, and he does emote. It's all how he looks that your having a problem with.

The best way to deal with it, is not to get him. That's where you hit Hasbro is in the pocket book.

I'm a personal completist. As in where if I don't like a figure I wont get him, but will still consider the line complete.

An Example: I'm going to use RiD

I don't like how Landfill. Megabolt Megatron and Jhiaxis look, so I don't have them, I only have the figures I like, so therefore I consider my RiD Collection complete.

If you don't like the figure don't buy it.

Well here's the thing. I love the design as ANY other robot. It's lethal looking and has a very angry menacing no-nonsense all-must-die feel to it.

Because of this, I buy those toys and rename them.\

My sig? Hellscream isn't smirking. He just has his mouth hanging open. It's impossible to smirk when your mouth is stuck in a /\ shape

I'll by that, and that is personal canon. I have no problem with that. I do that also, except I get rid of entire continuities and remake it to what fits me. Haven't changed the name of any figure though

The decepticons in the movie are suppose to have a monstrous looking face, to show they are aliens, and there is a smirk in there

Awesome, I knew you were a stand up bro Atmo.

Honestly man, I was a little turned off at first when I saw movie SS, but it grew on me. This is how I've always tried to handle TF. I'll take each new interpretation and let it stand on it's own feet. Of course I'm gonna compare it to prior incarnations, but I try to always say "Well, that's just how it is here" Not that would work for everybody, but works for me.

Honestly, I've always liked the monstrous Decepticons, liked it since Pretenders and it stuck with me.

Onslaught, where is this smirk? Can you outline it on a pic or something and show me? All I see is a mouth stuck in a /\ shape. And that's a permafrown to me. And the whole decepticons-looking-monstrous was a terrible idea when they in fact CAN be more than just always-angry evil robots. We saw this in the cartoons. Their heads were no different than the Autobots but yet we had no problems whatsoever telling the 2 apart.

And Rob, I gave this design a chance in the movies. I waited to see if it was possible that maybe there was something about his mouth that was not apparent in the images. But I was proven wrong. He can't express any positive emotions. I HOPE there are subtle changes in DOTM. Because if he starts expressing his bastardly happiness, then Starscream he will be. If you want to change a pattern, then do it right.

It as plain as day man,

The live action movie went for realism and ability to exist in the real world, while the cartoon you have a lot more freedom to do what you want

That's...just an open mouth. Seriously look at his upper lip. it's still a /\. Hasn't changed at all.

/\ means frown. Sorry man, but it's a fact. a smirk is more of a \_ but there's no hinges or any seam lines on the upper lip to suggest that it can move in that style. it's stuck as a /\ and for a character who emotes a LOT, that mouth simply will not do for a Starscream!

Sorry man its a smirk, and if you can't see that then I got nothing but what I have said before
