Too bad this is probably the United version (chrome, more G1 accurate then weve seen before) .... right?

Nice. He will be bought on site. I like his bot mode, very good hommage to the G1 style.

Did they add something to the water at Hasbro...cause they are doing a great job on these figures now.

Hasbro has been testing the waters with chrome, recently. At one of the cons, they said they were working with Takara to come up with a sturdier long term chroming process.

So far, the only figure that's been released with chrome, is Thrust. (His interior cockpit has been chromed. Not sure if Hasbro did this to Dirge, though.)

Animated Vehicle + G1 Robot = Win :thumb

Interesting design.

Dirge doesn't have chrome in the cockpit sadly :(

I'm waiting to order this fig once there is a wave that doesn't overlap with Cliffjumper and Thunderwing. It really is the only alt mode that makes sense for the character. Love these RTS designs problems might stem from repaints of Perceptor and Kup. Will one be Hoist/Trailbreaker which will cause gripes from the fans for over-using a mold or will Hasbro split the pair between Kup and Perceptor? I can't see a new mold being introduced they still have too many first runs to reuse. I can see Kup as Trailbreaker but not Hoist, while Perceptors mold could work for both. :tfgrin

If I remember correctly, Perceptor was said at Botcon to have a Reflector head, for the redeco.

For me as long as it has a retooled head, repainted and some different weapons I welcome "repaints". Great example of this would be Drift into Blurr.

And he will be added to the collection. Wondering how Reflector will look since I will have to buy 3 of him
