Transformers Generations Perceptor Image Gallery

Not overly excited for him. I'm disappointed with the alt mode. Very bland and unimaginative.

Bot mode on the other hand is great but i think i'm gonna pass on him.

That's my first umpression anyways. He's a figure i think should have stayed away from a vehicle for an alt mode. I would prefer himi to remain a microscope.

Call me old fashioned and a stubborn G1'er. You can tell me transformer alt modes should evolve and blah blah blah but he should be a MICROSCOPE and there's nothing wrong with him being a microscope no matter how newschool you are and think it's ridiculous.

pure win, he looks both intelligent AND an absolute brute!

Not all that into the alt mode while I did find the sketch for the animated version very interesting it was the robot mode that I think completed the new design. I think ima customize to make the robomode more idw killer preceptor

i think the alt mode suits him, its not a combat vehicle really because his missile launcher converts into a lightbar. i see his alt mode as more of an on-site reasearch vehicle. the tracks are present to carry the weight of the computers and batteries and centrifuges and microscopes (!) present in the rear section. seems like a perfect fit for me.

And he will be added to the collection. Wondering how Reflector will look since I will have to buy 3 of him

The Reflector repaint isn't even funny! Having to buy 3 of one figure just cause! I am interested in the Triple Changing aspect of this figure as Megatron103 inquired. If he can actually turn into a microscope, that's great! Then I'll take back what I posted earlier. Otherwise the truck alt mode does absolutely nothing for me right now. Not like it matters though, most of my figures are in bot mode on the shelf anyway.

Bot mode is fantastic, alt mode reminds me of Universe 2.0 Ironhide (bland bland bland).

Yeah they could've done better on the alt mode. I was kinda hoping for the IDW Sniper version, which I was expecting to see some sort of tank, but with all of the tank-figures out there it would be a difficult sell. But that has got to be one of the MOST authentic G1 robot modes that I've seen so far.

It's a G1 thing about Reflector, he is actually 3 bots in one. Spyglass, Viewfinder, and Spectro. Although all 3 were called Reflector in the G1 Cartoon.

I might do the same thing with Scourge. If the Takara one is even slightly different. Then I'm going to buy 3 Hasbro Scourges for Sweeps and one Takara Scourge to be Scourge.

I don't like Perceptor's Alt mode but I don't display my TF's in their alt mode so I can get past that.

I`ve always thought that they`d have to use an alt mode like this for a updated Perceptor. I don`t get the unrest over the halftrack, a microscope screams scout ROTF Scalpel imo.Classics Megatron being the exception I say Size Shifting should be left out of the TF reality. If Hasbro/Takara stays true to the TripleChanger aspect from the Animated design the it`s even better so fans see a more practical lab station/halftrack alt mode. And while there is all this hate for the new alt mode the old one had wheels and treads as well. Give these guys some credit, you can`t hate on the things that Hasbro actually gets right. :agree
