here's a good team

 

Grimlock- shit kicker.

 

Maximal Magmatron-strategist, honorable and intelligent. super ass strong and a triple threat when in alt modes.

 

Heinrad-stops time and comic relief. This is a pretty serious bunch he's teamed up with

 

Animated Blurr-super speed and spy/reconnaissance.

 

Perceptor-super brain and inventor. Also a medic.

 

I'd be G1 Repugnus.

Oh oh! Just got "The FURY of Bonecrusher" set last week ...I've now added Ironhide now named OFFROAD into my dream team! OOOOOooooooh man doe's he look tough!

I put together a pair of what I call NEST Strike Teams, as follows:

 

Team Alpha

Magnus (was Defender Optimus Prime), Commander- Carries heavy gatling cannon on arm and in truck mode.

Sideswipe (Strike Mission version), Second- Rapid infiltration, close-quarters combat.

Cliffjumper (Movie 1)- Rapid infiltration, close-quarters combat. Carries heavy gatling mounted to original weapon in robot mode

Brawn- Heavy weapons. Carries long rifle (Recon IH), combat knife, and original pistols

Armorhide- Close-quarters combat.

Skids (Tuner)- Scout.

Dune Runner- Scout.

 

Team Beta

Trailbreaker (was ROTF Ironhide, using Recon IH cannons), Commander.

Bumblebee (Alliance version), Second- Rapid infiltration, close-quarters combat.

Swerve- Rapid infiltration, close-quarters combat. Wears shoulder-mounted light gatling in robot mode

Brawn (2), heavy weapons. Carries gatling pistol (Recon IH), combat knife.

Armorhide (2)- Close-quarters combat. Carries light gatling in both modes.

Mudflap (Tuner)- Scout.

Dune Runner (2)- Scout.

 

I need to come up with new names for the second set of Brawn/Armorhide/Dune Runner, any thoughts? I added some of Reprolabels' NEST stickers to some of them, too. I really need to take some good pics of them.

 

I'm a little worried that 7 is too many for a unit that's supposed to be highly mobile, but it's hard to cut any out, these guys have worked hard to get on the team. ;) I was going to call them Team Strike Force and Team Discovery Channel, but Matt Groening beat me to the names. :P

Nice topic...I was writing down some ideas for a fan fiction I would call Transformers Apocalypse. The team would be (speaking) Bumble Bee, a reformatted Ravage (Bees pet), Gun slinging Sideswipe (deco based on us Sidearm sideswipe), Lockdown (he's the Lobo of the group)and Prowl (sun spot/ sky stalker mold with same character traits as Snake eyes from GI Joe). The 3 cares will have human drivers that match the personalities of the bots. Prowl is the ninja of the group...does not speak. Bee is the new hero sort of like Rodimus...he rebuilt is pet cat Ravage. Ravage is a saboteur and scout for the group along with Prowl. Sideswipe is the perfect warrior...cool calm and collected but easly annoyed by the uncouth brash and rude blunt instrument of the group; Lockdown! Lockdown is the most successful bounty hunter in the galaxy...his ego is to big for his vehicle but at least he track like other. He's the biggest and the strongest of the group...his the biker friend you wish you didn't have.
