I wouldnt change anything. New heads/accessories with repaints makes me a happy fan.

I would however do something about which characters get made into figures. And that whole debacle where half of the Animated characters never got made would never have happened. Also, leader class ROTF Wheelie and a Soundwave voice changing helmet. Duh.

Enginering.

Better, cheaper mechanics. There by making molds better and more. Repainting a guy would be eiter a really cool looking color scheme, or an iconic g1 bot. (ex. where the he11 is my sideswipe tracks?!?!?)

More Gerasalts. You could just mess around with a few guys, fit them together into a robot, and add some pegs.

More unique and asemetrical bots. Haven't seen on with different legs since Rail Racer/XLR. And would it really kill Hasbro to make a bot that splits at the upper torso every once in a while?

And please, pay more attention to the guns! They look horrible and are mostly black and clear blue.... :(

Small edits. I couldn't count the Bumble Bees where the only difference is the front decal's color, and some times they just change the missle in there gun. Really Hasbro, really?

Character

Please, would pesonlity make you bankrupt? Their description is the one who they hang out with, their worst enemy, and 2 things they like. (mostly helping for the bots and destroying for the cons) I mean really, that tf hold the character was not what I ordered Hasbo in the Box.

Classics

More characters that didn't really ever get a good toy. I'm still waiting for Big Daddy, Crankcase, and Grit with Graph.

And please, at least one Transtech!

Reisueing

Slow down! So many and so little time! The line between reisue and KO is becoming unclear.

Next time, try to add something unique, like nefty articulation! I'm actually desighning some high articulation armor compatible with the Hoist G1 toy. It pegs on with the various pegs around the figure.

I'm thinking about desighning some tank armor for Ironhide.

War Within cartoon, new War Within comics and War Within Toys (not the crappy titaniums we got)

Absolutely!! This and again, makeovers of all the G1 characters. Make them relatively scale size to each other and not too pricey- between 7 and 13 dollars.

Include the TV series fiction characters- all of them. Include a humans line but only if they are quality figures that are scale with the TFs. If this is too hard than make them bigger than scale. I imagined A LOT as a kid with the out of proportioned and not to scale G1 line. I can handle a little of it now.

Of course, Arcee and Headmaster Arcee with Daniel complete with a triple changer exosuit and a see through plastic helmet that opens or comes off. That would be rad.

Alpha Trion, Orion Pax, yes Ariel, all the wacky contraptions Megs tried to take over with, all the goofy had replacement weapons and tools that various TFs had in the G1 cartoon and throw in a few extra for good measure,

TV accurate everything. Forget maiming new and improved alt modes. Keep the 80s vehicles. Keep the futuristic guys relatively the same in alt modes.

Unicron that is more movie accurate.

Start with some Cyberton sets or something. Make Cybertron into a toy or toys somehow. Even SOundwave with his Cybertron alt mode.

Make the classics with the Cyberton alt modes like in the first episode, Bee, the Seekers, Wheeljack, etc. Be creative with the rest.

Basically make our childhood imaginations come to life with proportioned, scale, TV accurate (within reason) toys and not leaving the girls and humans and aliens out.

ANd definitely make GOOD toys of all the war within characters. Masterpeice War Within leaders, etc. Make a lot of masterpiece characters.

Make a video game retelling of the original G1 story with a towline. And for crying our loud, get Frank Welker involved!! Where is that guy?

Do everything I could to get Michael Bay fired, make sure a director with actual talent was hired and then have the movie franchise rebooted and made into something good.

Sorry, I know this was about toys but I couldn't help myself.

how's about the guy who directed the new star trek movie?

and the guys who wrote beast wars... good combo?

First of all, I would hire a group of 50 or so Transformer fans whose opinions I value to playtest ALL figures before they are released (if they are released). If there's something that annoys them or something that needs done differently, then the designers make it happen one way or another. Under my rule there would never be a bad transformer AGAIN. There would be some that not all people would like, but they'd all have solid modes, be constructed to last, and wouldn't be frustrating.

Second, from the moment my playtesters approve a figure for production, I will have COMPETENT photographers who WON'T mistransform the goddamn toy to take pictures of the prototypes and distribute them to websites like TFans. The secrecy is pointless and I'd rather constantly have this and other communities in an anticipation fueled frenzy for these figures.

Third, after the first production run that's passed QC has been created for a figure, I will mail a bunch of figures to the best toy reviewers on the internet, like Peaugh and Vange1us under the stipulations that they review the toy with expediency and with honesty and fairness (in other words, the reviewers that gush over every new figure they pay too much for in the premarket WOULD NOT be a part of this).

Fourth, f*** street date. I'll let stores put the stock out as soon as they receive it or whenever else they want.

Fifth, I'd do my damndest to put out a G1 Unicron and Beast Wars 2/Neo (I forget which) Unicron.

There's probably more, but that's all I can think of right now.

jes... (yes in spanish :tflaugh )

my idea's:

limit the amount of lines, one for the kids and one for the collectors.

strait to dvd movies idea, absolutely and they would be in a universe that could be tied in together.

four sizes for the toys:

minibots: bumblebee etc ($5)

deluxe: autobot cars etc, gesalt limbs ($10)

mega: prime, some of the autobots, all the dinobots, megs, seekers and most of the decepticons, gesalt leaders, all of the constructicons :tfgrin ($15)

supreme: omega, trypticon, fortress, unicron ($30 max)

take manufacturing out of china and bring it back to japan

megatron is just as important as prime... his toys will not suck

the only recolors & retools will make sense ie the seekers, soundwaves minions, suntreaker & sideswipe

if a human is in the cartoon/movie they will be adults.

i have more but i have a headache and my kid is needing attention

ONE MORE!!!! NEVER LET BAY TOUCH TRANSFORMERS AGAIN!! in fact deny the movies ever existed, like area 51

Some more

I would bring back the Alternator/Binaltech line

Archer would still be fired on site, and police escorted off the premises

Would end the Keep everything secret strategy

Release as accurate as possible all the Fembots from G1

Import remastered versions of Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, and Zone

Update all G1 figures

In place a 1 repaint rule across the board

Tell the real story of the 13. Not make it up as I go a long

End the Multiverse as it is and rebuild it the right way.

Reimagine Generation One properly.

Stop syphoning off creative force/effort and consumer dollar on diversionary tactics like PCCs, Activators, Powerbots, RPMs, and all the kiddie stuff like Cyberslammers and all that crap. Those things squander resources on both ends. Just make Transformers.

Fine, have a bunch of different lines for the wide range of tastes---apparently that's a plus, since the panels continue to hit us over the head with how cool it is and how different it is from every other toy line out there. But make each figure count, from simple pre-skool ones all the way up to Masterpiece ones. Go for quality over quantity.

Go back to mail-ins, or to a Mattycollector-type route, releasing something regularly like that.

Be more consistent with releases, a couple figures every month rather than 50 figures one month and then nothing for 6 to 9 months.

Consistent box sizes for better stacking and storage.
