Power Core Combiner Idea - Dinoking!

Recommended Posts

I picked up my first Power Core Combiner today, Bombshock. The whole drone thing isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. They all have this neat automorph feature when you clip them on. I will admit though, as much as I'm not as disappointed as I thought I'd be, it's still pretty sad that Hasbro couldn't figure out how to throw a face on each one and maybe have arms that pop out. It wouldn't have effected the automorph feature at all had they done this, but oh well.

What would be an awesome Power Core Combiner is Grimlock and the Dinobots. Think about it, swoop, snarl, slag and sludge in there basic dino modes attaching onto Grimlock to form Dinoking. Bad-ass.

Damn, I want this toy...now.

Does anyone on here work for Hasbro so they can take notes?

A PCC set of dinosaurs was revealed at SDCC. It's bad.

There is one planned already. It's ok. I'm still not on the PCC bandwagon yet. Even with the Dino version coming out.

Your a little late for your PCC Dinobots suggestion. If you still watch "Two fat guys in the morning," (Surprisingly, they give a lot of transformers information that we have never even heard of.) they talked about the PCC Dinobts and said it is ugly. I say it's... well.. OK. :shrug

PCC are bad for one reason only, the spring-loaded gimmick. Do make nice little Transformers that can turn into robots and the limbs for the combined robot? No. Do you sacrifice the robot mode to make nicely articulated limbs? No.

I'd be more inclined to try them if they were SYMMETRICAL.

Was thisclose to picking up PCC Huffer to sit in with my Classic/Universe/Generations figures.....but decided against it.

PCC just comes of as a corny gimmick which will be forgotten by years end or early next year as excitement turns to the new movie. That said, thay PCC Dino combiner looks ok, but I was never a fan of having the dino Transfomers or even the Dino-Bots as a combiner team. They're Dinosaurs already, they're big enough.

I hadn't seen this one yet, thanks!

Not exactly what I envisioned (who the hell is "Grimstone"???), but it looks like a decent set that I'd probably pick up.

I'm not saying I'm gonna collect all of them (cause some of them are awful), but I am saying that having one now, it's actually not as bad as everyone is saying it is. I've got Smolder already so I'm looking forward to putting the combaticons on it as well. I guess that's just it, these guys are just supposed to be fun to play with, not incredibly articulated or meant for collectors.

Are they fun to play with though? I've got Smolder and Huffer---yeah, I actually broke down and took them out of the package instead of taking them back to the store---so sue me. If my kids were jumping up and down to get the 5 piece sets, then I'd try them but I'm incredibly just not interested where these things are concerned, because of the size and the poorly executed combiner-ness. I'd probably get all the 2 packs if they were deluxe sized, but. . . as of right now, I am not enthused. On another slightly related note, I was looking at Smolder in his alt mode with Chopster on top today. If you squint, I imagine that the scheduled white repaint coming out will look a little like the Ecto-1. . .

AS much as i hate PCC. I'm tempted over this Dino combiner but hopefully reason will come back to me and the novelty of this abomiination will ware off. Shouldn't take much. jUst need to see some good photos and that should put and end to my current interest in him.
