In all my years of toy collecting, i have NEVER witnessed a toy being released at a date confirmed by the manufacturers. The STORES however have kept their promises.

i called hasbro this morning and grimlock is still on the release date has been pushed backed with none in sight yet

Since TRU is having a buy 1 get 1 50% sale on all transformers right now....they are probably holding the Grimlock so they dont have to give any off at half price. Once that sale is over...u then might then see it on the shelves!!!

its available here at toys r us Philippines.

If thats the case then we should only have another month to wait.

My email and reply with HASBRO

Dear Hasbro. I saw previously on your website that the new Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock exclusive Toys R Us figure would be released today 7/1/10. However after visting three different TRU stores today and not seeing anything and employees not having ay idea about the release, I revisted the Hasbro site and the previous posting of the figure was edited to not include the release date or the vendor that would be offering it. Can you please tell me when this toy will be available for sale and through what retail chain I will be able to purchase it? Thank you.

The release date for the Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock Toys R Us exclusive has been pushed back.

Since many revisions may occur prior to a product release, information, such as release dates, possible new items and where to buy future products, is not available in advance for distribution.

We ask that you visit our web site at http://www.hasbro.com often for the most current Transformers product information.

We appreciate your understanding and your interest.

Gotta love those form letter responses

I still think Hasbro has to have an issue with TRU breaking the current street date.

What street date?

The only time Hasbro puts out a street date on Transformers is if it's to do with the movieverse. Toys R Us might of listed Grimlock online accidentally; but, I haven't heard of anyone actually getting any Grimlock figures, if they were able to purchase them, yet.

Gives me more time to find the funds for him, so I really don't care right now if he's delayed actually :shrug

I'm financially foked right now, so I wouldn't be able to get him if he were released round about now. So for once........I'm gonna thank hasbro :P
