Just when you thought the twins couldn't get any blacker :roll (bad joke, I apologize >_>)

 

Eitherway I sorta like the new alt-modes, granted they may still be the same bots on the inside their alt-modes are alot nicer looking in my opinion. Didn't much care for their original cars so, upgrade time I guess.

IMO, those are Skids and Mudflap's new rides. I mean come on, why would Bay take out Skids and Mudflap? Anyway, the racing stripes are green and orange. I think those are Skids and Mudflap. It's probably like how Bumblebee might be a convertable. Well, I don't know, that's just my opinion.

Haha...nuclear.funny.black chevys will def bring in something....but why did the first two ppl who put comments on here act like they are the twins from second....it clearly says not the twins but different ones....damn ppl read what you're looking at before you write on it.

 

 

Those ARE the old twins, but with NEW alt modes. Bay was trying to be sneaky by saying the Twins (as we knew them) weren't going to be in the movie, but technically, these are the same bots. You can clearly tell which one is Mudflap and which is Skids by the stripe colors.

 

With that said...yeah! I'm glad they are back, and I think those new paint jobs are SWEET!

 

I'm hoping it's Skids and Mudflap. Honestly, what people said about them in the second was the same as what people said about Jar Jar Binks in SWEP1. It was stupid, short sighted and just an excuse to find something terribly terribly wrong about the movie in their opinions. Most people who I know who have seen that don't think that's the case.

 

Another reason I'm hoping it's Skids and Mudflap is because what Bay said about giving more time for character development, will hopefully give these two a chance to shine. Right now they're the obnoxious little brothers of the Autobots that are no better than functioning as a diversionary tactic. Maybe in number three we'll really see them show whatever they might have to offer beyond that.

 

Not to mention, it's terribly terribly obvious that it is considering while these are black cars, the racing stripes are clear indicators of who's who and we know Bay likes to try and throw people off the scent.

All the snazzy paint in the world can't make those characters palatable. I can't believe anyone is defending them. Even if you didn't think they were racist--and they were--you have to admit they were obnoxious. Yes, masterminicon, just like Jar Jar.

 

My guess is those cars have to be in the movie as a product placement, but if you're Chevy, is that really the kind of promotion you're looking for? "Mommy, buy that car, it'll turn into the illiterate Transformer with the gold tooth!"

The cars don't look back, I hope they improve the personalities, or make them mature somewhat, and that would be and improvement. We'll only have the faces to complain about.

 

The other thing I see, is shelf warmers (toywise). That's what I see in all the stores in my area, bunch of Mudflaps everywhere, some places may have some other TF, but some places don't.

Sigh. This movie is gonna suck eggs AGAIN. Thanks to you Mr. Bay, I have stopped collecting Transformers. Its just not cool anymore since you came along. :tdown

....Please if they wanted to put twins in the movie, And I do man GOOD twins then Bay should have put in Runabout and Runamuck...But sadly Bay said lets make fun of some minorities....(Slaps face to palm) why does he keep being STUPID!!!

The Bayverse is getting just as bad with the repaints as Hasbro
