Limited Edition Henkei Optimus Prime Lucky Draw KO

Recommended Posts

No offense to anybody, but especialy this KO, it's for people who wanna pretend they have something they don't.

Does it matter that even for a KO it's limited...

Well let me ask you, if I buy 10 ROTF Scalpels certificate and mark them as an exclusvive 10, even go as far as to put a holigram on the package, would it be worth more then $7.99?

I can't think so, and that would be an actual Hasbro item.

Same goes for all the "high end" G1 KOs, it's still a KO and you get what you pay for.

Id rather have no "lucky Draw" pieces then fake Lucky Draw pieces.

Who said it was about pretending to have a Lucky Draw figure? Some fans might only want to display a cool looking gold chrome Optimus Prime. Don't overthink the intent.

Lucky Draw KO

It's in the title. They could have called it Midas Prime or something but they went with

Lucky Draw KO
If that don't say it, I can't imagine what would?

Not to mention, it's called "KOLD", which is Knock Off Lucky Draw. I'm kind of in the mindset of that these are toys that shouldn't be knocked off, in the way that someone could get their hands on it, then unknowingly, or even knowingly, pass it off as the real thing.

You know it's gonna happen. It may be a while down the road, but someone will be sold a KOLD figure as a real Lucky Draw.

am i a bad person for wanting one?

Edit: on second thought, the color is kinda spotty in the sample pics, i imagine the QC is suspect

Watching Pawn Stars right now and just saw a guy get beat on a saddle due to that type of douchebaggery.

But hey, a sucker's born every minute.

I was talking about the buyer, not the seller. Buyer more than likely won't pretend he has a LD figure, fake or real, just that he has a cool looking gold Prime without the retarded price tag.

Anyway, what's to complain about the name? He couldn't be more honest about its nature.

This isn't the first knockoff lucky draw figure. There is an ebay seller who sells KO WST seeker jets, who painted one to look like the real full sized Lucky Draw G1 Starscream released in limited numbers a while back.

He only asked about $7 for it, and it didn't sell well.

Only difference is, there wasn't a WST Lucky Draw Seeker to confuse things.
