Disney Label Buzz Lightyear Coming In June; Device Label Cheetor, Blaster In May

Recommended Posts

Our good sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has just confirmed that Tomy Takara will be releasing a new Disney Label figure in the form of Buzz Lightyear! The figure is slated for a June 2010 release date and is pre-orderable for $44.99 at BBTS. Additionally, it seems that Tomy Takara has not cancelled Device Label Blaster as previously thought, but were just stalling the release of the product. BBTS has the Blaster USB hub ($71.99), along with newcomer Cheetor 2GB USB ($42.99) thumb drive available for pre-order. Both are due in May 2010. <br />

Oh, I wonder what Buzz'll transform into?

Though, I gotta admit BBTS wants a bit too much for Blaster, so I'll probably look elsewhere for a less expensive option. Given how much I like Ravage/Tigatron, I'll probably be sold on Cheetor, though. :tflaugh Since they're doing another BW themed DL, maybe this means there's still hope for a Dinobot deco mouse?

Mattel made a Buzz transformer. I THINK they still sell it at Disneyland. It sucked. But maybe this wont. I just hope this one will prompt a US release with the new movie coming soon and all.

I'd like to get the thumb drives but for the same price I can get a 8 to 16 gig stick. The transforming aspect just isn't enough for me to justify the steep prices.

Isn't the device label coming to the U.S.? If it is I'll wait to pick these up.

I have Ravage and Tigatron, so I'll pass on Cheetor. And Blaster is just wayyyyyy to steep in price to buy. It's only a USB hub FFS :argh

As for Buzz lightyear...fail...nuff said :fail

Blaster is good news...don't really care to get a Cheetor or Buzz.

I think I posted a group buy here for the blaster. I guess I'll give it a bump.

wonder if Blaster will be imported too?

the only USB figure I want is Ravage, they can keep the repaints

I still wouldnt mind a Mickey Prime, but cant say I care for the Disney crossovers. I wouldn't buy, but still wanna see how Buzz turns out :)

Buzz Lightyear ? :eek That I would love to see! Though I can imagine the possible alt. modes he could have. :lol

Cheetor? Really? They're releasing the thing at same time as Blaster and they couldn't make it be Steeljaw?

Buzz Lightyear = Sky Lynx. I could also see Buzz Lightyear as a Pretender.
