Anyone ever Google wallet/checkout? I want to buy some Tfs off a site
bigkid24 replied to Cybcouncil's topic in General
I've used google wallet on buy.com before and it's fine. Basically it's a way to pay for stuff without signing up for accounts all over the place. You should be able to sign up for google wallet on the google website and then just check out on the ecrater site if that makes you feel better. But I've heard so many horror stories with ecrater that I'd be more afraid of buying from that site than using google wallet. -
The USA $27 Ultra sized TF toys failed in sales in stores,because........
bigkid24 replied to Shadowpanther's topic in Toys
Powerglide, Onslaught, and Silverbolt were okay molds. My main issue with them was that I wish there was more engineering in the toy rather than the sound and light gimmicks they came with. For me, the higher price point should have meant more complexity just like a Voyager is more complicated than a deluxe which is more complicated than a scout, etc. The only reason I have them in my collection is that I paid $15 for each of them new. -

Anyone else tired & loathe Scalper shipping fees on ebay?
bigkid24 replied to Shadowpanther's topic in Toys
First of all let me say that I admire Shadowpanther's passion on the subject and trying to enact change but I think he's going about it the wrong way. Regarding a few points that were made: The people that are selling on ebay as a business are the people that should be charging for their time. If it's their primary business then their time is certainly valuable to them and they should be compensated for it. Also, maybe they are trying to market their business using their boxes/tape etc similar to how BBTS or Amazon does with their business. Then using USPS boxes don't fit their n -
I've got BB MOSC. Just asking $12 and shipping.

I'm not worried about bulking up my collection. It does that on its own. I usually shy away from legends and such unless it's a G1 character that makes sense in that size. Display space is at a premium and the smalls are usually the first thing to get put away. Having said that I do have a WST/Legends/Targetroid shelf at the moment.

Very Saint Seiya like.

I don't see the point of the figure. If I had looked at the picture quickly I would have just thought it was a G1 Powerglide. Yes it's show accurate but of all the characters that needed a show accurate toy I would have put Powerglide towards the bottom of the list.

Yeah, thanks for the info. I wanted to grab one of those as well, but will play the wait and see game with it.

Sell them on ebay if you're going to get rid of them. I'm sure BBTS will offer you well below market value for them and you'll have to ship the figures to them. Even though Ebay will take a chunk out of your final price I think you'll probably still come out ahead. Without any completed listings to compare to it's hard to know if they are really worth the listed prices of those auctions. Do BBTS, TFsource or Amazon have it listed? You could always gauge off of that.

Ratbat has already been reissued twice already: once in the Takara cassette 4 pack and in the SDCC Soundwave. I'm all for new repaints for new characters.
