Arcee combined mode concept art revealed!

Recommended Posts

Wow, nothing short of a horrible mess! And to think of how many complaints there were concerning Demolisher... :shrug

I name you Abomination!

Looks like utter CRAP to me....

I also hate the concept of wheels for legs.

I mean, as 'transformers' who would suspect a thing seeing that roll down the road?

I hope they are at least honest and call TF3 - the invasion of robots. I don't understand why they even transform or try to hide at all.

The more bay does - the more I hate it.

I will say - some of the concept art of some of the other constructicons (page 12+) are really quite nice.

The thing I don't like about wheels in robot mode is that they defeat the purpose of the robot mode. If Transformers are going to be rolling around they might as well stay as wheeled vehicles and turn into KITT from Knight Rider.

I'm just guessing here, but is Arce meant to be a futuristic abstract art piece? I think Hasbro needs to just release the 3rd and final arcee twin here. Thats really the only thing left to wait on as far as a cliff hanger to this toy line.

I'm actually sort of curious as to how this combination works.

From what I can tell, Arcee and Chromia are the 'limbs', whereas Flareup is the main body(or something, dunno if she's going to be yellow). It's kind of a mess, so I fear I must leave the proper analyzation to people with keener eyes then myself(and who didn't just wake up :P).

As for wheels for feet, makes sense to me. First, why walk if you can roll effortlessly? ^^ Also, the altmode is disguise, the robotmode is the "real" mode. Maybe they roll at home, and bikes fit when they came down to earth? /shrug

Well, no, they always transformed. Maybe the wheel can split into feet, and they were only partly transformed. It kinda makes sense: They can't shoot in vehicle mode, but would have their speed greatly lessened on foot. But partly transformed, with the wheel, they could both shoot AND keep up with Sideways. As for Demolishor, his vehicle mode was an excavator. He may also have been only partly transformed (Did you see the destruction caused each time he flipped his wheels over?) You wannna know what's ridiculous? Rampage's robot mode. His means of locomotion is a slagging pogo stick. I laughed when I saw it, although it wasn't as funny as Devastator's...you know... (Although those were REALLY questionable, since none of the Constructicons who formed him HAD wrecking balls).

OMG, it's Demolishor's girlfriend!
