Arcee combined mode concept art revealed!

Recommended Posts

I just had a thought. What if there was a head on each shoulder. I was trying to imagine this abomination in motion and I suspect it's kind of like Demolishor, only with a third set of wheels. Then I thought the head looks WAY off and is actually on the shoulder, belonging to the gold one. Well I bet if we saw different angles of this thing we'd see Arcee's and Chromia's heads too. Just a thought. It'd be like a twisting shuriken of tires and... stuff! A full bodied Animated Blitzwing, if that makes sense (in the multiple personality sense, not so much the style or transformation).

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Really!? REALLY!??!?! THIS is what people have been wanting to see!? I'm laughing so hard right now, words cannot express my pleasure at viewing this abominable scrap heap of random shit thrown together to make what effectively looks like an orgy of Wheelsnakes.

BRAVO! I honestly can't believe Bay didn't use this retarded design.

And you guys bitch and bitch about Animated's style and then... look at this!

Hey, it's more then possible for one thing to suck. Since Chromia no one realy though this combiner would be great, we just wanted to see it though. Eitherway, the toys can't configure that concept, so realy, it's just a drawing.

Outside of that though, the majority of recent TF2 concept pieces shown just make Animated look even more like the playpen crap it is. Especialy Soundwave. I know a movie will have a higher art budget then a show, but you brought it up. I also can't help but think that if some of the designs where presented to and green lit the robot detailing would have been present both on screen and off.

Man! It looks like 1982 John Carpenter´s The Thing on Wheels

I realize that it's a relatively standard line of arguing here, but it's very difficult when seeing something like this (and other pieces of concept art) not to think "Jesus, they aren't even trying to make a Transformers movie." And I get that the job of the concept artists is to run wild and offer all sorts of different alternatives, but when I see something like this, all I can think is that either the artists have no concept of the franchise they are attempting to channel or the filmmakers have no interest in channeling said franchise.

I reckon she would be constantly changing between three forms and using different weapons depending on the modes she was in. Moving kinda like a cross between a spider and a snake.. Rapidly but slinky..

I like it :o Wonder if that's possible with the toys :<

This is just one of who knows how many combinations. This one (says its combination 03) is just 2 of the bikes from the looks of it. Other modes may look better and we can hope the trio combined has 2 legs.

With what all was in TF2 this wouldn't have been farfetched. In fact like Demolisher and the very Arcee bikes themselves this may be one of those things that looks dumb not seen in action. I can imagine it being a tough opponent for a Con.

Gah I still can't call it a "her" though.

One is forming a backpack.. THREE BIKES.

Maybe it is THREE BIKES. But if so this art makes no sense because you would have to see more than that small amount of blue and just 4 and a half tires if all THREE BIKES were combined here. Either way the THREE BIKES combine in other ways so this may not be the best way to combine THREE BIKES.

I'm not saying I like this at all though. Stupid looking combination of the THREE BIKES.

Which is a cool thought... sort of. Like I said, It might be neat looking in action, not that we will ever see the THREE BIKES in action.

It looks like a mechanical version of one of those H.P. Lovecraft monsters.

I suppose it's not the artist's fault, he just has to follow the style of the movie Transformers.

The Call of CTHULHUTRON!

Just looks to me like an even messier version of what were already some fairly messy designs (at least in toy form- they worked a bit better on screen)
