Yeah, dude. That was not cool at all. No cookie for you.

cause sometimes it's fun to poke a bear?

Again Tramp, I like yasometimes I can't get enough of watch how hard you try to spin things. The US Military thing for The Seekers, that just set me off right for today...

Like I said, it's the only way their "ranks" could be considered accurate, because Skywarp doesn't outrank Starscream, according to their Hasbro bios, not even considering the show or comics. Look at RotF Chromia and Arcee. Chromia has a rank of 6, Arcee has a rank of 5, yet Arcee is supposed to be the leader.

I don't care, I still think they're just throwing a dart to come up with these things :P

For me, I got Rumble LOOOOOOONG after G1 was cancelled. So reguardless of fact or figure, he's always gonna be blue to me. Hell I think when the show was on I actualy held the figure once so...

But thast for me, I also rename alot of the guys I by and ignore faction so, you can see how the specifics would be lost on me.

It's kinda like a guy like Tiger Woods, sure he's mostly Asian, but when you look at him, you go straight to African American. It's not the facts, it's the mindset that the visualization gives.

Another example is Universe Powerglide. I don't see Powerglide there, if anything, it's the white Bad Boy repaint, to someone else it may be Micromaster Hot House. Why, Powerglide is red not white.

I know. I mean, Hasbro calls Animated Snarl "Snarl." But Snarl was never a Triceratopsian. That was Slag. So I don't care what Hasbro calls him, to me he is Animated Slag.

no

Which is perfectly fine in this case since originally, that was what Hasbro was going to call him. They changed their minds after finding out that the word "slag" was a derogatory term in the UK referring to "a woman of loose morals", and Hasbro wants the same names used on these characters around the world, and they couldn't exactly have him being sold in the UK with a name that's a dirty word in that country. This was actually played that up in the cartoon as well in the episode Human Error part 2 when Scrapper tells Sari that he was originally going to name Snarl "Slag" but that he took it as an insult.

Lol, the funny thing is, Slag was in use in that context here even before G1, so poor Dinobot Slag was the butt of many playground jokes even back in the 80s!

And surely the answer to Rumble/Frenzy is simply to do with media? If you're going by the toy and its tech-specs Rumble is red. If you're watching the cartoon Rumble is blue, and if you're reading the comic he's red.

For me there were so many differences between comic/toy and toon that they each existed in different continuities. Was Shockwave Megatron's Cybertronian lackey or a deadly rival for leadership? Was Reflector on the Ark or not? Did Brawn have a mouth or a faceplate? Was Fort Max the size of a city or just a regular robot? All are correct, it just depends which version of G1 you happen to be enjoying at the time!

It's all good :)

Transformers, Dancing on every possible situation since 1984!

Yeah, but back then, Hasbro didn't know it apparently. They only recently discovered that connection.

Well, the Transformers mythos is a multiverse of different, divergent continuities. It always has been. This is nothing new. The key point here though was more a patter of what Hasbro and Takara has established regarding Rumble and Frenzy and how they got their colors reversed in the US version of the cartoon.

Well, it's pretty simple.

Hasbro must have mixed up the names. The G1 toon is obviously the correct depiction.
