What do you consider to be the absolute best of the best when it comes to Transformers figures? If you had to pick *one* and only one figure from each line to represent that era of toys to a new fan, or a child just getting interested in the toys, or if you could only keep one toy from each series, which figures would you pick? (and if you feel like expanding, WHY? Be it personal favorites, the quality of the design, nostalgia, etc)

G1 - I'm thinking either Powermaster Prime or Overlord

G2 - Laser Prime

BW - Optimal Optimus

BM - Night Strike Cheetor

RiD - Prowl

Expanded Universe - Tigatron

Armada - Megatron

Energon - Starscream

Cybertron - Optimus Prime, but it's close. There were a lot of good figures in this line.

Classics - Bumblebee

Movie - Barricade

Animated - Megatron

Universe v2 - Silverbolt

ROTF - HA Bumblebee edges out Leader Prime by having a much more intuitive transformation.

Honorary mention to Trypticon, the BEST TF walker (shut up about Sky Lynx), and the largest G1 Dinosaur TF.

Oooh Another best of poll

Well lets see

From Classics 1.1: Jetfire

Classics 2.0: Cyclonus

Movie 1: Deluxe Bumble Bee consept car

Movie 2: too many good ones

Animated: Starscream

Over all best: Classics Jetfire!

Over all second place: Classics Cyclonus

Honorary mention to Trypticon, the BEST TF walker (shut up about Sky Lynx), and the largest G1 Dinosaur TF.

We seriously need a new Trypticon. And not some crappy Grimlock repaint either. Lets see him transform into the Nemesis in TF3 so that we can get a supreme class toy.

Animated: Voyager Grimlock. or prime its a tie

Classics/Universe: voyager prime

Movie 1: ironhide or leader prime

Movie 2: Leader Prime

Beast Wars: transmetal rat trap

RID: omega prime or scouge

A/E/C: armada starscream energon tow line cybertron prime

G1 any cityformer

G2: anything from the 1st year

Beast Machines: obsidian

MP MP-4

i kinda said him in my post note my picks for g1

I gotta say, I like the idea!

I'd like to see all the bases get that kinda treatment. And real Supremes, not this half ass Devistaor Bumblebee crap. I want compartments and pannels and traps and all that fun stuff. I don't understand why they cant do what they did way back when but better?

We need some new bases!!!

armada prime and megatron kinda had that but i know what your really talking about

I like Primes base mode, I just wish I had more room for it to be displayed that way (actualy I feel that way about all my Prime bases).

Armada Megatron I use to keep all miniconed up. That guy had a million pegs. I just wish he had traps sized to fit, but I still made due.

Currently most of my minis micros and the couple Legends I have are set up around Dai Atlas connected to Countdown, while the Decepticon ones are with Overlord.

Still outside of something like a Prime trailer, we haven't had any playset city bots. We are like 20yrs over due for some new ones.

And I'm not counting Gigastorm

or Encore(although man thats nice)

energon not so much i was just a launcher cybertron was a turret so of of those three armada prime had the best base

I agree, Energon Prime only realy worked with his parts. Cybertron Prime makes a nice little bunker though.

Energon Omega Supreme was a huge let down though. That giant train mode should have been able to interact much more with the smaller figures.

I like him, but being big is his only real merit. Cybertron Metroplex at least has a ton of minicon ports.
