nice action pose!

edit:

i was going to do something like that to my nemisis prime to show off more of its robot form. i like yer sideswipe too! it very....gundam lol? nice to see that u just cant go wrong with sideswipe no matter which way u transform him. even though he's a shelf warmer in my town i still consider him one of my favorites

Gracious... You boys need to chill out. >_> It's just a freakin' knifeless mod to an already nifty toy...

Anyway, I think that looks pretty nice. Much cleaner, but I guess I'm doing something wrong with mine because it keeps feeling like it's about to break when I try pushing the wheel over. I keep going into "Tekyu Smash!" mode and put it down because I know if I use more force it's gonna snap.

I'll try again later, but I kind of opt for the trunk/chest because it's so different seeing a TF change backwards like that and for some reason the normal look makes him look sorta... pudgy. Same thing for Dead End. They look pudgy.

Doesn't mean they don't tingle my hot and bothered TF desires, but it's just my take on the aesthetics on that mold.

Nice job, dsrtek! :thumb I never thought of clearing out the door kibble before. Looks so much cleaner than the normal drooping doors and SOOOO much less gaudy than the spastic door-wings.

Looks great KT!! Can`t wait to find out how you did it. Ahem, ahem... :thumb

Hey everyone.

This one was a little simpler and crude compared to my Tracks mod.

Basically it's 2 steps.

1. Remove the black plastic connector which connects the hood to Swipe's groun. I removed the pin on the crotch side. Sorry, how else to describe it?

First, BRACE Swipes however you can. Then, with a hammer and a small punch/ice pik, punch out this metal pin.

Then bore one end of the hood's hole out. That way the pin holds in place, but is easy to remove/remove the hood.

2. I drilled a hold through the connector into Swipes back, or what would be his back using a tiny @$$ drill bit. Since I only have Swipes with the trunk mod, this hole isn't noticeable due to Swipes TF; you know what I mean?

Then using that 'mysterious screw' from the Tracks mod (I'm resourceful see...), I screwed the connector onto Swipes back; thus holding his Shield in place.

Ironically, he can hold this thing/connector in his hand fairly decently. Anyways, since I don't play with mine, he holds it in a static pose on my shelf anyways. Also, except for the new hole, this is amazingly 'clean'. Anyways, I likes and it was a lot simpler than the Tracks mod.

This will probably go down as the least popular mod, but hey...it looks good and doing the Tracks mod has given me a lot of confidence. This was a piece of cake!!

Later,

KT

Sorry for the mistypes. You get the drift! PS. You've got to hold him tight when punching out that pin or else you can really do a number to him!
