Turn the shoulders around so that the chrome peg in the middle is not visible. This transformation ain't bad. There is some limited range of motion in the shoulders, but then Smokescreen has limitations, too. I'm still working on making the hood a shield and finding a way to solidly attach it to the rest of the car in vehicle mode so it's still a functioning hood. Any ideas in that area?

I really like yours, though... I may use it on Dead End just to make him look a bit different (if I ever find one, that is!).

I've got a spare Alt. Dead End still in the box, PM me if you're interested... I'll get rid of it for $25. Let me know... I was planning on doing a Sunstreaker repaint, but I wouldn't want to be just like everyone else, now would I? LOL, actually I just don't have the time to put into it right now. I'll get around to it eventually, besides, Dead End is showing up quite frequently around my area now, so I'll hook you up with this one if you want it.

I too have had much fun playing with various TF forms for Sideswipe. You know, these things are like clothes, we can 'wear' em like we like. It's almost like personalized versions of TFormers; each of us has our own 'way' of doing it.

 

Fantastic if you ask me. To that respect, I dig it Dsrtek!

 

...Guess what I did to mine though?!!! Hee-hee. I removed the pin holding the hood on to make it removable and made a mount to hang it off his back/use as a shield-but still allow full uninhibited transformation. But I think it looks awesome and that's all that matters because when it comes down to it, I'm the only one who gives a @#$(*& with regards to who'll physically be in my house, standing in front of Swipes, and looking at it! Ha! Actually, among my friends, I'm the only one who collects TFs and they all don't know what the proper way is anyways and they just think it's the cats meow.

 

If I post pics, people will probably bombard it with hate mail though. Too bad...

I say post away with the pics. For each posting of hate mail, there will be 20 people who want to try it for themselves, just not willing to admit it. Like I said earlier, you spent your $25 on it, transform it however you want. Other people's opinions are just that, and they are entitled to have and share them. That being said, opinions are like A$$holes, everybody has one, and 99% of them stink. So post away, be it pics, complaints, praise, or whatever. Viva la interweb.

Regardless of how I may have come off, I wasn't ofended at all. (Nor do I hate Beast Wars. lol) And I agree with the statement that your idea is a cool mod, but better suited for Dead End. Can't wait to see your other pics, so everyone can misinterpret my replys to those as well! :tflaugh - GZ

Do you mean with the wheels in front? I've been :monkey ing around with mine for a while, and that's all I could come up with... Oh, and by the way, when I did the trunk-chest mod, I also took the arms apart and switched the sides so that with the torso reversed, the arms are still on the right side. In case anyone cares, since everyone seems to hate that mod anyway. (J/K) It's better, IMO.
