For the Non completeist at heart

Recommended Posts

I tried to just collect the figures that were in the movie but that never happens as I proved with the 2007 movie. So what I still need to find are:

Definately Buying:

Jolt (Deluxe)

Arcee (Deluxe)

Long Haul (Voyager)

Devastator (Legends) (Whether he's coming to the U.S. Or not as soon as they announce that it's for sale and not Pre-order I"m buying it)

Debating on Buying:

Devastator (Supreme) (Need to figure out how to paint it a bit better and if hasbro is going to be making the rest of the Constructicons in Robot mode forms also)

Mudflap/ Skids Ice Cream Truck (Deluxe)

Knock Out (Scout) (Liked him in The Veiled Threat)

Ejector (Scout) (Now only if they would make the Transforming Mtn Dew Machine I'de be happy)

Want them to make:

The Third Arcee Sister

Also A Voyager of the Bigger Robot Skids and Mudflap were suppose to transform into.

Now i'de like to see what else the other non completists are wanting in the same categories.

Also I appologize if this is in the Wrong Place. I am new but have been reading the forum for a while now.

The Third Arcee Sister

There are plans afaik. Whether it's a repaint of one of the other sisters or an all new mold I'm not entirely sure (I think I heard something about a repaint, which would suck).

Also A Voyager of the Bigger Robot Skids and Mudflap were suppose to transform into.

What big robot? I don't recall hearing or reading anything about a big robot.

The difference between them and the Arcee sisters is the sisters are supposed to be like one being split amongst three bodies, kind of like Trey of Triforia from Power Rangers Zeo. It's the same person. Skids and Mudflap are two separate beings made from a Spark that split during formation resulting in twins. So the Arcee sisters being able to combine into one being (possibly, the toys and novel seem to be the only proof of this concept dropped from the final product in theaters) make sense in a similar fashion to Magmatron or some of the Duocons, just with the addition of a unicycle robot mode. The Twins combining...all I'm getting is horrible shivers remembering the DLX size Powerlinx Energon Autobots. The only good ones were Prowl and Inferno/Roadblock.

I want the HA figures, but have only seen them at TRU for $5 over the sugested retail, so I'm waiting on those.

Otherwise I want just the new mold figures that fall into the Scout, Deluxe, and Voyager class. Outside of Swerve I don't care about the repaints or the supreme figures.

I'd like to see them make that foilbot who was make from the ball bearings. I thought it was stupid in the movie, but I'd like to see how the toy would look.

realy though, unless they're holding back, I think I only care about getting maybe a few more of the new mold figures and I'm done with TF2

I may have to get the HA Bumblebee just because he looks amazing but the price makes my wallet hurt a bit. And They need to make the third arcee triplet and the last three Constructicons. They did say they were going to be making all of them.

i'm a completist... but definately still hold to "movie only" characters... I have no problem sticking to those...

I have been on the fence about the ROTF movie... but seem to keep getting them, because I have found most on sale. Target had a sale recently that was about 11% off and then an additional 20% off if you bought 4 or more - so I got all the characters they had at about 31% off retail.

I am lacking....

.. and looking to buy:

Jetfire -- can't find him anywhere - would probably buy 2 of them - 1 as Prime jetpack and 1 to pose.

Devestator (supreme) - I have to get one to go with my G1 original Devestator

Arcee & 3rd cycle - havn't found arcee yet

2 constructicons - Longhaul & one other that has't come out yet (forget name)

Toaster (heard they are coming out with the toaster)

Have not bought... and probably will NOT.. because they are too much like duplicates of the 1st movie...

Bumblebee

Ironhide

ratchet

** no desire to get the ice-cream truck

I'd still like to get Long Haul and the Twins ice cream truck version, but haven't seen them.

Anyone know when they come out?

realy though, unless they're holding back, I think I only care about getting maybe a few more of the new mold figures and I'm done with TF2

Yeah, other than leader Starscream it doesn't seem like there's much else on the horizon. I would like to see them make toys of the remaining three Constructicons, though, and more HA toys....

Then the SDCC pics showed up!

Still, new molds, very picky on repaints

Technically I need nothing. But as for what I might want: Bludgeon, possibly Brawn. Not going to bother with Jetfire unless I see a good sale - the combo doiesn't look worth it. Leader SS is probably a pass, unless he has some nice features that make him significantly better than the Voyager. And I'll try to get at least some of the upcoming HA figures, mostly for the humans to be honest. Skids & Mudflap will get dumped in a storage bin immediately, as all I want from those sets are the human companions. Honestly, the only ones that I want for the robots are Bumblebee & Barricade. I'd love it if Hasbro would release the human characters seperately later on.

something that bothers me still is that we've seen alot of what the rest of the year and start of 2010 has in store. No new Constructicons though.
