Can we see some pics of the actual toy?

I guess I'll have a first prototype in a few days. Then I'll be posting some pics right away.

Oh, sweet! Will the articulation still work on the bus?

That is indeed quite a challenge due to the splitting into the knee elements. But yes, the bus will have an articulated joint, at least we try to realize it.

And any chance of the production process might also be able to be applied to turning out some Sallys? I've always liked that transformation.

I already talked to our producer about Sally. I would LOVE to have her produced as a toy.

What you do probably do not know by now is that she already got two sisters - and if Robobuz will sell well, we will also get them into production. Here's a video of the three fembots I did back in early 2005 (before the TF movie, therefore the yellow Camaro - I'll probably have to find a new alt mode for her now):

But I don't know if we will have this kind of complexity as initially planned:

The original Sally design has a complete interior with seats, steering wheel and stuff. We'll have to see.

BulletProofAngels.. WHAT A COOL NAME.. Love their design...

I guess I'll have a first prototype in a few days. Then I'll be posting some pics right away.

Any info on how much they will cost ?

Will I have to order it from Technische Werke Kaiserslautern ? Will I get it cheaper if I promise to use their buses ? :sneak

Oh and how big will he be ? Scale ?

Greetings from a fellow Beerlander ;)

Yea cause that way you will have waited for a Bus Transformer for years and then Three will come at once...

Cool work, Looks like an actual toy.

Hey, I get it! You win this thread! :internet

Awsome work there :yay Makes me want to get one myself. I run a sign & graphics shop myself and would want one to put some "bus graphics" to advertise with lol with the destination my address... think that would be cool. Love to find out if you ever make this as a toy ;)

Here are some pics of the first real model. In order to reduce tooling costs, I try to do most of the engineering in advance. I'm using 3D printing technology for the first prototypes, therefore the rough surfaces and the rather thick walls.

The model is already fully transformable, but I still have to abrade some interior points. The next step is to update the 3D mesh after this test and then to go for the tooling process with the tool maker.

And here are some pics from the printer workshop:
