BotCon 2009 - Revenge of the Fallen Devastator Combiner Gallery

I think the only reason that each component is lacking a robot mode is because they couldn't figure out how to incorporate the Devastator head into a fully transforming Mixmaster.

Exactly!

BULL!!!

Break the face up and put it on 4 hinges that fold underneather a quarter of the drum tucked between the shell and the arms and legs.

Wow, I figured it out.

What I really want to see is this guy on display with the movie leaders.. I can't tell how big he is without a good size ref.. having him by himself doesn't help me any.

Is anyone at Botcon gonna give them what for over this!?!

I mean yeah we all love Transformers, but this here is a chance to nip this type of crap in the bud!!!

I'll overnight some rotten tomatoes if needed.

Take a stand for the fans!!!!!!

simmer down bro, it's just plastic :tfevil

nailed it!!!

When Devastator supposed to be out?

I'm still getting it.

although.. there's no longer silver paint on the face... is it really getting released like that?

at a $100 price point and the individual components not having bot modes you'd expect better paint applications, more detail, and pivot joints on the feet.. oh and you'd also expect them to at least keep the silver paint on the face..

i guarantee you that know one will bring up the HUGE problems with this figure to the people of hasbro. which is why we get this kind of stuff.. cause no one is willing to stand up to them and express that this is not acceptable.

sure some people are going to buy this.. but i bet you that if it had individual bots.. there would be a 50% increase of people who would purchase this.

anyone know if the silver face has been officially replaced by the cheap grey plastic look?

You say that people aren't willing to speak out and let Hasblo know that we're not happy with this tripe but in the same post you say you're buying it. Not for nothing, but if you really want to get the point across to Hasblo then DON'T BUY IT!!!! The lack of sales will tell them plenty. Really, if you want them to make strides in the proper direction then just don't give them money for this kind of crap! It's kinda' common sense. They are only allowed to get away with it because the TF fans apparently will buy anything. Think twice or three times before you make a purchase and Hasblo will have to try harder to get your money, and we'll get better figures! Frikkin' American consumers.....

Besides the American consumer bit, I completely agree. Don't buy this crap...and if you just have to have it, then wait for the price to go into the dirt, so they're not making enough to cover the expense of producing it. :shrug

Didn't mean to offend anyone with the "American Consumer" bit (I, too, am an American) but making unwise or uneducated purchasing decisions is almost a strictly American thing. Take X-Box for instance. Most "educated" consumers wouldn't purchase something with such a high rate of maintenance/complete system failure issues, (not to mention being charged for on-line services that Microsoft could easily afford with the change they find in their couch cushions) but "American consumers" just have to have it regardless of whether or not they are going to have to replace/repair it, and somehow this incredibly faulty piece of electronics is the "#1 console". That's how we end up with so much junk that people try to sell us, because it appears that we will buy anything. It's a philosophy that can be applied across the board: don't buy just anything; be extra critical when making purchasing decisions, then companies will work harder for your money. Spread the word and help make being an "American consumer" a more positive term.

I will be getting the legends class one. It just looks that much better than this one. That and if the price really is that high then mail-ordering the seven will still be cheaper.
