I'd buy that !!!

Saw a boot of Soundwave & cassettes yesterday too !!!

Now I never owned a G1 Shockwave, but how convincing is this? It looks really on-target to me...

The purple on that KO is too bright and the barrel is the wrong colour.

Here are pics of my original G1 Shockwave...

I heard a rumour that TakaraTOMY were considering reissuing Laserwave, but I've not heard anything official. But remember that it does depend on whether or not Tomy have the mould and rights (as they did with Sky Lynx, Omega Supreme and Metroflex) -- but remember that expensive reissues like Omega Supreme and Metroflex have been reported as shelf-warming in Asia, so I don't know if TakaraTOMY would be keen on reissuing more big expensive reissues.

I had a feeling that was happening... Online stores already have Omega and Sky Lynx on clearance...

1 foot PowerRangers Megazord £30-£40 less than a foot Metroplex £70->£100 If they were charging the WORTH of a toy rather than ramping up prices cause of "collectors" they would sell..

Agreed every year Ranger stuff just sits on US shelves, and every year, there's just as many new pieces that come out and sit in the same place. YET, every year the new lines aren't choked with past stock repackaged.

That right there always kills the whole "they have to repaint to make money" argument and justifies the "no, they're just lazzy" stand point.

If the Encore figures are shelfwarming in Asia, Takara should offer Hasbro an import deal. That would greatly widen the distribution market, move old stock, and make way for this very awesome potential reissue!!!

I think safety laws keeps this from being a simple process...

I know that was the case with Brave Max, but can we be sure about the other bots?

I forgot about Toysrus.com starting to sell Encore and Masterpiece... I wonder how they can get away with selling MP Megatron... Beware prices are outrageous...
