Considering what it was and who it was primarily aimed for(Those damn kids!), I think it ended fairly well. Not great, but then again, I'm an adult and realize it's not high end entertainment or a night at the opera(and no, before you foaming at the mouth types start in, It never was thought of, called that or otherwise by anyone, nor am I calling anyone out), but the show was not made for adults specifically, it was made for kids with some nods here and there for the older fans.

If you can't get past that, then this is all I got for you.

Please please please please please please please please PLEASE Hasbro, make Season 4 or a spin off on your new channel. I will love you forever.

They spent too much time in the first segment going through the animated transformation instructions. Could have used that time to show Magnus getting out of bed, receiving a report about Megatron, telling Cliffjumper "I can't deal with that right now!" and proceeds to kick Sentinel's chassis down the corridor or something...

As far as Prime vs. Megatron fights go, that one was better than some.

I'm really bugged by the original hooks (new characters) for this show being advertised so heavily and only showing up in any serious capacity in the first episode this season.

I would like this episode a lot better if I knew for sure a season 4 or more were coming down the pipe somewhere, but as it stands for a "finale", way too much stuff left unanswered. If you can make the season premiere a three parter, you can make the finale a three parter as well.

I kinda felt like they could resolved alot of the story arcs here but they didnt as others have pointed out their are still a few people awol and story elements unanswered

i can see another two seasons of unresolved eps. ..so many unanwsered questions :9000

I dont look at this ep as a series finale even if it turns out to be. Yall have to keep in mind that they didn't intend it to be the last. Season 4 was probably the all out Con war on Cybertron.

This got me thinking. How come Megatron always lost at the end of every season finale? That totally sucks. I wish that in one of the finales he would have won and darkness would envelop the land. I think that'd be a totally rockin' setup for a season premiere afterwards.

Even if it were just a season finale, it SUCKED.

It nullified ALL of the previous seasons because Megs is back to square one. He's just barely in a better position than he was at the start of the show and he never got to DO anything.

I hate to say it, as they were good episodes, but they should have completely ignored BA, Wasp, and Dirt Boss.

Rating as an episode: 8/10

Rating as a season finale: 5/10

Rating as a series finale: 2/10

I can't really add much more to what everyone else has said, but it would've been a lot better if this episode was the virtual simulation done by soundwave in Human Error and a decepticon ruled Cybertron coming down on earth in a final mega-battle would've made a far better series finale.

Here's your ending folks, now enjoy Revenge of the Fallen, goodnight now! By the way, don't forget to purchase Transformers Animated Season 3 on DVD this fall!

THIS! Such a boneheaded way to rush through the ending of a GREAT series! I swear, this felt just as rushed as Lynch killing/maiming several cast members of Twin Peaks & leaving entire story arcs either unfinished or open-ended, after ABC cancelled season 2! Well, alright not exactly...but you get my intent!
