TFormers sponsor BigBadToyStore has just informed us that Hasbro has cancelled their Transformers Animated Wave 7 Voyager Golfire Grimlock and Hydro Bumblebee figures. "We apologize for the inconvenience. We have cancelled all preorders and removed the item from our site," BBTS sadly tells us. The figures were originally slated for a May 2009 shelf date. No other figures were slated for this wave.

So we're never gonna get to own that Bumblebee?

What the fuck, Hasbro!!?!?

Bumblebee was COOL. BAD MOVE HASBRO!

VERY dissapointed about Bumblebee. I couldn't care less for Grimlock or the hydro dive thingy...but the new Bumblebee looked great

I hate to say I told you so...

I knew they were talking crap at Toy Fair.

Either way, I though both these things sucked anyway.

That sucks! What is going on with their marketing team? It seems like they're more confused than ever. They really don't seem to understand what their consumers want.

What the fuck?!!! Now I'm pissed. I had planned this get this for my son this summer. He loves the animated show and BB is his favorite. I don't care about Grimlock since he already has the first one in that series. Better not become some bot con exclusive that I'd never be able to afford to get.

Could mean two things ::

#1 The end of Animated toyline?

#2 Make more room for Season 3 character toys?

But, still..

I just want answers. Why was this BB canned? And why is the TF division of Hasbro taking puffs from a bong too? (Their Star Wars team has been smoking one for years and thus hasn't put correct articulation on half, if not more, of the figures they make)

Totally not miffed .. a weird remold and a repaint? I'd be pissed more if they were to cancel something like say.. TFA Wheeljack and Perceptor.. if there's intentions to make toys for these two.
