Maybe it will clear up a slot for a new voyager...Maybe a Constructicon...Nice. I understand the frustration, but honestly, a snap on hydro thing when Bumblebee has been seen underwater numerous times with no problem is just a gimmick. And though I kind of dig Grimlock in gold...I'm sick of re-paints. If Hasbro is going to cut dead weight to make room for fresh molds, this is not a bad start.

damnit just when I was getting into animated looking forward to the bumblebee figure gonna buy two paint one as cliffjumper this is a bigger dissapointment then cloverfield was. why does hasbro not produce awesome molds such as transtech starscream and now bumblebee

I agree on the gold Grimlock. That one didn't make a whole lot of sense anyway, but the Bumblebee was definitely a better mold than the original, even without the underwater thingy. I would have loved to pick that one up.

I just want answers. Why was this BB canned? And why is the TF division of Hasbro taking puffs from a bong too? (Their Star Wars team has been smoking one for years and thus hasn't put correct articulation on half, if not more, of the figures they make)

 

Hasbro put to much attention on Star Wars, the stuff hardly sells, but man if we had half the attention to detail they get...

 

As for Transformers, here's the way I see it, they always run different lines, but no matter what they call it they always tend to sell. With that in mind I believe Hasbro feels less inclined to attract us with top notch items like Star Wars gets. I also believe that they don't care what the subline is as since Beast Wars every line has sold, to them it's just Transformers. Remove one product, replace it with another, it'll still sell.

 

So why don't they release this anyway, probably cause with the amount of new stock getting ready for market, they just don't see a point in producing these as well.

 

It's like the theory behind cigarettes, they can make them less toxic, but why bother, people are only gonna buy them anyway.

 

Still, I don't mind these figures being cancelled, BB just looked stupid, and Grimlock, outside of the sword just seemed pointless.

I don't really care that these guys got canned. I didn't like the new bumblebee and that grimlock repaint just was odd. I'm more concerned with whether or not they're going to can the soundwave repaint. I actually really want that fig especially for Ratbat.

That sucks! What is going on with their marketing team? It seems like they're more confused than ever. They really don't seem to understand what their consumers want.

Why would they bother, they still have 33,000 re-paints of Universe2.0 Prowl to concentrate on.

Other than that WTF hasbro? I was planning on picking up Bumblebee. They should drop all the crappy cross overs and focus on the three main line right now.

Enough with the repaints too. You can sacrifice two or three repaints for a brand new mold.
