I wonder if its possible to pose him in dinomode in a more "scientifically/biologically correct", "Jurassic Park" pose?

Tilt him forward 45 degrees.

I just gotta point out that 25 years ago, the scientists were certain that a T-rex was built as is (basically) G1 Grimlock, and now they think different. So imo, they really DONT know & are just guessing. ... still! There is no 100% correct way of building the T-rex's bones. Only educated guesstimates. So you can complain all you want about the differences, i dont care, but realize that not everything is black & white. ;)

Except it is more or less black and white. Paleontologists today know much more then they did back then. The "educated guesstimates" of the T-Rex having a horizontal spine are much more grounded in reality then the "educated guesstimates" that he dragged his tail (G1 Grimlock).

In fact the Grimlock build isn't even an educated guesstimate because science has all but disproved it.

Believing the T-Rex was built like G1 Grimlock makes as much sense as believing the Earth is still flat and the centre of the universe. Yeah, the best and brightest USED to think that, but it's been debunked by advances in science.

Personally.. right or wrong... I like the G1 homage. If they want to do a 'more accurate' T-rex - let them do it in the Movie line or some other line. I would be LESS likely to buy Grimlock if they had severely altered him to be more accurate - and thus less Grimlock. My 2 cents.

I think you misunderstood my point, im not saying a T rex looks like then gen1 body style, but that they really dont fully know the absolute truth. I know they have disproved the old way. And im not saying that way is correct, its not. But my point is how long before they prove the new idea is wrong? Does that make more sense?

I also want to point out that im not arguing with anyone here, or saying anyone is wrong. I only said this to give you another option of thinking, or at least to look at it how it is.

Thats not wrong, you just misunderstood me. I was in the museum of natural history science in like 1987 (about) and they claimed they had recently found all the bones in the 1980's for the T rex and (something to this degree, this was when i was 10 yrs old) are more certain now that this creature had smaller craniums then they thought previously, and shorter tails then they thought before, they claimed they had built/structured him in their newer placement of bones then before in the early 80's, which was very much like Grimlock. My point here is, the employees were pointing out to me they had made corrections to the T rex (not to mention changing a few other saurs names and shapes) to make him accurate. Sound familiar?

I must say...

Who gives a crap if it's not scientifically accurate to a modern T-Rex. It's obvious that's not what TT was going for here. They made a new more articulated and larger G1 toy. That's pretty much it. Like it or lump it.

They are slow in making masterpiece Transformers. I really hope they just make All the 5 dinobots (... plus that winged Sludge KO) into masterpiece transformers instead of waiting every 3 years for another one. I don't wanna be 50 years old not having a complete collection of this! :tfevil
