That is a very striking coincidence there. But I still like it. Ravage actually looks threatening now. In G1, you could tell that's how they wanted to make him act. Savage and viscious, but his appearance didnt look so threatening. This time he looks as evil as he hopefully will be.

There's a resemblance, but I think it's mostly coincidental - (a) because of the cat-like stance and (b) the movie designs have tended to emphasize a kind of spiky, almost biomechanical aesthetic (I guess that whole 'alien' thing) and that can't help but drag up images of Giger's creation.

Having said that, the one-eye thing seems sort of forced... unless the actual system Ravage will use is more complex (notice the round, silver eye shape closer to his 'ear'?) No doubt the viewing public will divide themselves evenly between those that don't care and those that think the 'one-eyed tiger robot' was the most awesome thing they saw all summer.

I'm still iffy on the mismatched Megatron look, and I get this weird sense of deja vu with Ravage. Seems like I've seen that design somewhere, like during Beast Wars, oh yeah, TM2 Cheetor and his Ravage recolor Tripredacus Agent. Not saying there is anything wrong with that, I liked both those figures in cat mode. So will we be getting a new figure, or just a recolor or remold. :hahano Seriously, I wouldn't put it past Hasbro.

Ravage is fairly interesting! As for Megs...still on the fence & trying to understand this asymmetrical arm-thingy going on...? And I'm with one of the other posts...scan an earth mode already, dude!

Ya know what I'm thinking? He cannibalized parts from his fallen troops in that trench. Why else would he come back as a tank, ya know? Maybe its a part from Blackout that he just thought would be useful.

You may be on to something there...but Blackout was the helicopter; Brawl was the tank.

Devistator was the tank. Not that it matters.

Ya' know, cuz names are interchangeable when there are no characters. The tank could have been named Woodstock.
