If the Boba Fett/Slave 1 crossover is any indication of the quality of the other crossover figure I'll be avoiding them like the plague. That thing is good for one thing.... FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!

The only nice thing I can say about it is it has little undercarriage kibble. Which is nice... except for the fact the fuselage looks awful. It's not smooth at all, and barely looks like an airplane. It's also incredibly bloated to boot. Just... ugh.

Hasbro probably wont remold any of those tfs into regular ones, BUT rumour overe here in the East has it that Takara WILL remold the heads (or repaint at least) some of the Starwars crossover figs into G1 characters (who end up in the Star Wars universe).

 

How about THOSE apples, eh?

Considering the mediocre nature of the various Star Wars TFs, I doubt they'll get much improved by forcing Darth's Tie Bomber into Megatron colors or Luke's X-Wing into Optimus Prime's.

There are only 3 figures that ever appealed to me in the SWTF line. Death Star Darth Vader, Juggernaut Commander Cody, and the upcoming AT-TE, which surprisingly does not look like :fail.

I'm definitely down for Thor and Captain America, though. The rest are definite passes for me.

 

You know... I'm tempted to actually buy a Thor and a Cap - and try to make them into Classics Powerglide (:redface i know i know...) and maybe even Trailbreaker?

 

Anyone have any of these yet? How is the construction?

Are they as flimsy as the SWTFs?

I've gotten all of them except for Spiderman and Human Torch. The winners are the Hulk and Wolverine. They are both solid and nicely poseable. Venom has a wonky transformation where his chest doesn't sit will, and Iron Man isn't particularly well done, I can't pose him worth a damn. As for the others I don't have yet, I've heard that Spiderman isn't real good, but that the Human Torch is decent. HTH! :thumb

Captain America would make a great custom... TrailBreaker? Brawn? Roadbuster?

Thor looks like a good one to be customized into, um. Any suggestions for this one? What would this make a great custom for? Powerglide is already out.
