Pretty awesome Devastator video

Recommended Posts

It does make you realize how impractical the whole thing would be. I like how the back 2/3 of the dump truck just flies up into the air, because that's what would happen.

IF there is a Devastator combiner in the sequel, I imagine the combining process to be more of an assimilation- they all just start crawling up on each other and shifting into a final creepy mass of big scary robot.

Didn't they used to just drive up one another in G1? I have that visual in my head. *shudder*

QFT.

Just imagine 6 - 7 'Cons like Bonecrusher on the first movie.

Transforming, rolling, hating, crushing, assimilating to each other, then hits the brake, stand up, and voila! DEVASTATOR! :guh

I could see something like that.... be pretty cool. I'm not holding my breath on any combiners but I'd love to see it.

G1 Devastator just has too many additional parts to make anything realistic out of him ... having to add parts to form a gestalt = :fail

yeah... the additional parts makes the whole concept of giant alien robots that can turn into vehicles very unrealistic. What were they thinking straying too far from the original realism

Right now Devastator is first on my list of options for next year's costume :dclol

I think his point is that you can't make a photorealistic construction vehicle out of the G1 model and some $6 toys.

Oh gawd! Its happening again!

The point is that additional pieces needed to complete a combiner sort of negates all the coolness of the combiner concept.

I actually liked devestator best as far as appearance was concerned. But he is much older than the Scramble City-esque combiners, and obiviously they improved their engineering over time.
