Well, now I have to go and dig out my first Prowl (which had a malformed crest on his head), and do this. Care to explain how you did it exactly as far as getting them off of Prowl. Getting them on UM is another matter.

 

I think the best way to remove them would be a Dremel cutting disc.

no you just pull them off they have pegs that slide in to the chest pice. no cutting required . now to get them to fit in UM you use green stuff or what ever you have . to make the pegs on the missiles pegs bigger and longer.

seeming as the auctions are tapped out on UM's launchers, this may be an effective way to go since Prowl/SilverStreak is only $7.77 at Walmart.

 

I'd probably go battle damaged with ther rest of the sacraficial Prowl/SilverStreak

green stuff if sculpting putty . i use it for joe customs. and we call it green stuff as you kneed it together it becomes green. hope this helps.

I tried popping the launcher off of the Prowl I'm making into Jazz but I ended up having to cut it off.
