That might happen...but I strongly suspect that Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream will all receive new, more accurate molds.

 

I think it's 50/50 on any other returning characters getting new molds or just repaints of the older molds, depending on how big a role they play in the film or just what Hasbro thinks will sell better and make them more money.

But if what Agent Zero is suggesting is true - that would mean that the film was a work of fiction! And is in fact not reality.

Just to add to Hobbes and Atmo's little convo going...

Like Hobbes, I think Prime, Bumblebee, and Starscream will get new molds. However, Bumblebee might only get a heavily-retooled mold though. And I feel that Ironhide & Ratchet will get retooled molds, maybe with more accurate cannons and head for Ironhide and the buzzsaw weapon and more accurate arms (with blaster arm) for Ratchet.

 

I think we'll see redecos of a bunch of the old movie line toys - such as Barricade, Landmine, Salvage/Dropkick, and Stockade - just to beef up the line. I also bet the random background vehicles characters to get new TF molds just like the first round of movie toys. Maybe that Chevy Volt will actually be a TF toy?

Actually I'll be happy if they just replace TF1 'Screamer's cannons with arms.
