Lets all review & rate the Re-generations 80.5 freebie issue. Spoilers are inside thread, you've been warned, this is a review. My 2 cents: This freebie comic was pure awesome. it had a even mixture of flash back & newer story arcs/plots getting introduced. I love simon furman & the way he writes TF comics. the man is a genious. he's got this mystical magic when he writes. I really missed simon from the TF IDW comics & his return here was pure awesome & dynamite. While I'm a huge Simon furman fan. Even I must admit that second page. where simon explains what he's been up to since 1991 was way over the top & in the level of supreme se…

What? IDW Just ruined the TF comics even further.... So another Marvel TF G-1 Decepticon leader gets killed off in the IDW TF G-1 comic? I read on another TF forum that Ratbat got killed in the IDW TF G-1 2012 comics recently. I haven't read the issues yet,so can't confirm anything. Is IDW on a mission to ruin the TF comic fiction? Honestly,IDW's TF comics is horrible in both story & art compared to Dreamwave. marvel had better TF stories/persona's. Personally,I feel, that when simon furman got taken off the TF G-1 IDW comics, that's when everything when downhill. I'm a bit upset because IDW just killed off another Marvel TF G-1 Comic decep…

Sometimes I feel some of the people doing mosaics can actually do a better job at drawing transformers compared to the "current", transformers artist. if you had a choice which transformers fan artist would you like to become an official one doing comics?

Sucked. Just read it the other day. Between the horrible art and horrible story, Chaos was probably the most over hyped garbage i've read in a long time. So much build up for nothing. i hope the two individual series have turned out better. I'm waiting for the TPB's to read them.

Theories on why Hasbro doesn't care & lets IDW do as they please with the TF comics. by ruining TF persona's & origins. post your theories if you have any. My Theory is as follows: Hasbro is well aware that hardly anyone reads comics anymore. as hasbro's team of investigators sees the huge drop in sales/customers on the entire comic book industry as a whole with every passing year. My guess is hasbro doesn't care because they figure with such low sales/customers on the TF comic books from IDW,A extremly low percentage in reading the IDW TF comics. with such a low percentage of readers/buyers. hasbro probably figures any stories told don't get read by …

How would you rate the IDW TF comics? do you think their better or worse than DW or Marvel? do you prefer marvel,DW or IDW? Which did/does a better TF comic job? Personally I thought the Marvel TF USA & UK comic stories were the best. I felt bob & simon furman created some unique TF comic stories. simon furman I felt did a awesome story telling job with all those TF UK comic issues. I loved the simon furman TF Marvel comic issues in america. Simon wrote a great G-2 marvel comics story. Dreamwave,I felt came the closets/in 2nd place to the Marvel TF comics stories awesomeness, with the much needed improved art designs. their were no major character pers…

Some Transformers fans had wished to find out whatever happened with StarScream killing the Kaon senate in Megatron: Origins, and StarScream walking freely among the Iacon Citadel senators and Zeta Prime. Chris Metzen (writer) clears that one up, and offers a brief insight into what happens tomorrow (Wed, Feb 15) in Transformers: Autocracy # 3. This issue places SoundWave in the spotlight. http://www.blizzplanet.com/blog/comments/idw-transformers-autocracy-3-blizzplanet-interviews-chris-metzen-and-flint-dille

So I just read #23 and I like how the narrative keeps jumping between current day and the past, as well as expanding on just how corrupt and just downright evil the Autobot regime was and further justifying the rise of the Decepticons -- building on what we saw in Megatron Origins. I also like how it was Megatron who inspired Orion Pax too. ;) (a bit cliché perhaps) Still not impressed with the way Milne draws mouths though... so lacking in a range of expressions (it's as if they're all Muppets or something). The different ways that Optimus and Rodimus experienced their bonding with the Matrix was interesting too. One thing that bugs me with the writing here - and tbh…

Scan any page from any Transformers (or Transformers-related) comic book, then recaption the words! Here's one from me - recaptioned from Marvel G1 US#7. ;)

Whats the best order to read these in? I was thinking about going back and reading through all of them since it's been a while. I have all the books in their TPB versions. The "tion" books are numbered but i don't know who's Spotlights to read and when since they are all grouped together. I've looked for a list on the interwebs but didn't find anything super promising. I found this list but it hasn't been touched in almost 2 years. IDW comics any ideas would help. thanks.

Has anyone ever tried recoloring the old Marvel comics with photoshop?

With so many Transformers Animated fans clamoring for a fourth season they'll never get now is the perfect time to launch a comic continuation of the Animated universe. With the BotCon Animated Stunticon box set selling out faster than sets in the past it's obvious excitement for the series is alive and well. Let's make ourselves heard and maybe IDW will pay attention!

I've seen the fandom divided pretty much straight down the middle on this, did you like or hate AHM? Why?

So has anyone read the first issue of IDW's newest (very unpublicized) Transformers title, Heart of Darkness? If so what do you think so far?

Was surfing Amazon and found this: Transformers Trilogy Hardcover Any info on this book?

Ongoing 15 hits the shelves of your local comic shops in about 24 hours is it the awesome fans will be raving about for weeks to come, or is it the train wreck that will break the back of the series? As I've had the wonderful opportunity to have had issue 15 in hand for a few weeks, with much thanks and gratitude to the wonderful IDW folks who sent it my way, here is my non spoiler review. Maybe it will send you running immediately to your local comic shop on Wednesday morning to purchase this bad boy! Read on after the jump! Read the Full News Story Here

Anyone else get this comic with their 2 pack yet? The style is weirdly Classic/Animated. All the character designs use that of the new toys and almost all of them are upcoming releasing including Grappel, Jazz, Tracks, Kup, Lugnut, Rumble, Frenzy and Scourge. Interestedly, I wonder if the other characters are due for new toys then. The others that appeared are Warpath, Wheelie, Dinobots and Devastator. Although I think Wheelie is served by his Legends release and the Dinobots and Devastator are served (loosely) by the PCC Dinobots/Constructicons ad on the last page. Still, I hope for Sludge. And did anyone else get a laugh out of Kup refer to Tracks as Warpath in …
