Pick the Winner!!!!!!!

where is the Caption It thread? It used to be under Transformers Toy Discussion.

Alright, this is picking up from another thread, but because of it's dichotomy from the original topic, I thought to start a new one. I've seen numerous mentions in differing threads over the past year about how Rodimus Prime was a poor/crappy leader. Whenever I'd see these comments I'd usually brush over them as I too liked the leadership qualities that Optimus Prime possessed and there was certainly sentimental value in Optimus. But I recently had an opportunity to sit and watch all of Season 3 of the original series and I came out of it with a different perspective. Some of which was voiced by "AutobotLoki" in the other thread. I will quote him here Briefly. …

i think it's dumb to try and treat a cartoon that features giant mechanical robots from another planet as action, because tf's are a bit too geeky for the same type of audience that's into GI Joe, Batman, and other series. it's like trying to pander Jeopordy to sports fans. what do you think?

That's right, my collection (and being in the right place at the right time) got me in the newspaper. Check it out! It even had a color photo with me sitting in front of this cardboard display stand I own from when TFTM was first released on VHS. It's not the best written article (he misquoted my explanation of gestalts and got that I post on TFormers when I really just go there for my news) but hey, it's about a Transformers collection! Sorry it's small, I'm not so good with internet stuff. If anyone wants the full text (if you're having trouble reading it), I can type it out. It was in todays (Sunday April 3rd) Times Herald Record for anyone who lives in the Hudso…

There seems to be a recent trend-- or at least, one I only became aware of recently-- to decry Megatron's original mode as a Walther P-38 in G1. I don't know if the criticism is coming from newer fans who are used to seeing Megatron in other forms, or old G1 blowhards like me who, as adults, are rethinking the logic of the old series. I just wanted to offer my few cents as to why I like Megatron as a gun in the spirit of friendly debate. First of all, let's consider the toy. G1 Megs is a great toy. It's one we'll never have again, so for collectors it's a great piece of history that remains close to the hearts of many. I wanted G1 Megs for years and was thrilled to fi…

Hey guys I've been browseing the web looking for good pics of MP Prime so I can put it on my computer to be a screen saver or use it as a backround for my web page. Any good pics out there anyone knows of? If anyone has any ideas let know. :usa

So anyone have a clue when the new show is supposed to come to CN? Last I hear it was Summer, but with Chalk barely doing test recordings two weeks ago, are we looking at late Summer, early Fall? Anyone heard anything more than that?

On the end page entitled "Rumor Central" of this (last?) week's copy of eWeek (the Enterprise Weekly) there is a comic with a TF Homage in it. Took me a bit of digging but here is the comic: http://www.eweek.com/image_popup/0,1735,s=...d=102000,00.asp
