Hey guys, am selling a G1 grimlock with a box which is in superb condition. It has been in my dry dark loft for the last 20 years with no fading and only very minor scuffs to the edges. From the research i have done i havent found a box in this good a condition. This really is a one off!!! Check it out at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...5973048931&rd=1 Cheers

I don't want to this to turn into some sort of flaming thread, so hopefully it will stay civil. My question is: why does it seem like everyone bashes the G1 fanboy? I read alot of threads that have little digs at g1. I mean we are all tf fans so why does so many people dump on the original fans? People seem to go out of there way to basically tell g1 fans to eat s@#$. I watched Transformers in the 80ies, I grew up with G1, it has always been my favorite (despite its faults). I have also enjoyed watching the evolution of Transformers throughout the years. I just can't wrap my head around what it is that makes fans of the later stuff to be so resentful of the original…

Wow! G1 Megatron goes for $5K, and AFA 85 G1 Optimus Prime goes for $3K! That certainly beats my G2 Blades. :eek

I've heard it go both ways, but what do you think? I personally feel that it's his earth mode because, based off of the first episode where Wheeljack and Bumblebee are trying to get the energy bars back to base, they had no wheels and their alt mode then where totally different than the ones they changed to upon arriving on earth. So, if it was his Cybertronian mode why would he need wheels. Also, the movie was 20 years into the future, so who's to say the cars wouldn't look like that. I mean c'mon, Daniel had a hover board for gods sake. Basically, I'm bored and want to see some arguing.

With the new G1 line rumors about, and the movie in the works for next year, I’ve been hearing a lot of the normal complaints and general Starscreaming about how G1 has been done to death and they need to move on to something new and different. So I figured since I’m in a debating mood, I’d throw up a topic here and talk about this always hot button topic of the TF fan world. Now I was born in 1981, got my first TF in 1985, and little ole Beachcomber still holds a place of honor on my shelves. Devastator whom I wanted as a kid but couldn’t find or afford till 20 years later stands tall on another shelf. These two are the prizes of my collection, not because…

G1 is the best because it was the original, the first. Everything was derived from it. It literally gave us everything. The creativity of the combiners/gestalts has never been matched by any future iterations.

Alright, I heard in another Transformers forum, in the Canadian sightings where I live, that Ages 3 and Up has the Target exclusive G1 Jazz repaint, for $21.99. Now, I saw at The Bay, four Voyager Primes, and I'm just wondering, with the $30 I have, should I get Prime or G1 Jazz?
