  2. As you can see from this pic of the soon-to-be released DOTM Voyager class Megatron action figure, the right side of his face is disfigured (thanks to Optimus Prime using Megatron's own cannon to blast that half of his face off in ROTF). I am hoping that someone out there can use their special talents to recast the head of DOTM Voyager class Megatron so that right side of his face is the same as his left side, enlarge it (if necesarry), and design it to be placed on ROTF Leader class Megatron!

  3. I purchased a large lot of g1 figures from an older collector wanting to get rid of his stuff. I got some great pieces in the lot but some of them came with paint splatters. What i mean by that is like they decided to paint a room or ceiling and forgot to cover the toys and they have spots from paint being kicked back from a roller. I'm trying to remove these spots. I've gotten a lot of it off using my nail and scratching but it's getting tiring and i'm wondering if there's an easier way to do it. I've done a google search and i can't seem to find any topic regarding this issue. i went to a hobby shop and bought a bottle of Model Master Dried Paint Solvent and tested that…

  4. Here's Combaticon Swindle done in a Generations style and an 8" voyager scale height. He was made from the Transformers Crossover Iron Man Humvee, head from ultra class Silverbolt with a newly sculpted face/crest, main gun from Animated Swindle with extra parts, reworked hubcaps, and completely reworked inner joints to remove the clicky-ratchet style for smoother motion. Swindle's head is now on a full ball joint which gives him much more personality and tons of movement. Swindle was painted with Tamiya Dark yellow spray lacquer, testors gunmetals/metallics, and Formula P3 paints. On a separate note the Iron man Crossover mold here is my favorite out of the whole series. E…

  5. Wow, I've been wanting to do this ever since I saw the Reveal the Shield Perceptor mold. It uses Perceptor and a WFC Soundwave. You need to lop off both the neck and head peg, then install a tiny ball joint for his neck. Then saw the shoulder cannon in half and the same with Perc's roof cannon. Glue them together and it still flips over to form the lights. The gun can be stored up in the vehicle and fits in Perc's hand perfectly. I painted him using Tamiya TS-19 Brilliant Blue and various Testors/Formula P3 paints. His chest window even flips down Soundwave style, it was perfect! Now I have a modern style Soundwave that still has a G1 feel to it. I used that Tamiya [For P…

  6. Started by Garage Mod,

When I first transformed this figure I had half the mind to just throw it away - inaccurate face sculpt, puny whips, that weird-looking triangular thing behind his head, all the allspark blue - all added up to one ugly figure. It was only when I saw capcomkai's awesome custom Jolt did I see that the mold had potential. A few little mods here and there, and voila!Thank you so much to capcomkai for providing lots of helpful reference pics, ideas, and inspiration!View the Custom Gallery Here

  7. Started by Garage Mod,

Toxitron here is pretty much a repaint of RTS Prime. I was able to modify the shoulders, elbows, knees, and hips by removing plastic to give him way more range of motion. Before that he was pretty stiff. His chin was sanded to be a bit less beak-like and he was painted with various Formula P3 and Testors Model master paints. I gave him a new blaster and hose along with a splattery paint job reminiscent of some toxic spray. Found him a tanker trailer as well, Toys R Us has this cool line of 'Fast Lane' 1:43 utility trucks/haulers. They're to scale with Prime here and the tanker trailer was just what he needed!View the Custom Gallery Here

  10. Started by Rotorstorm,

Just finished putting this guy back together to see how he looks, not transformed him yet since I'm going to bed, small preview to whet the appetite. more pics may come later depending on what I get up to in regular hours :lol) (his hands were sawn in half btw so now fingers move freely rather than just at the tip.) I am the first to attempt to do this as far as I know. It surprises me that nobody else though to do this sooner. This guy is going to end up going to ebay soon due to being screwed out of some money I'm owed by social security. It'll be sad to see him go but with any luck I'll see this guy at retail to make myself another one. …
