This is a commissioned piece. It was inspired by a similar build / work in progress by TFMaster. I used the leader sized / class Energon Megatron as my base. Was on the fence with his color scheme (blue? purple?) with all his incarnations/styles, so I went with a blue-purple. Cloud Saber started off as a Classics 2.0 Mirage figure. His head was replaced with the head from a BIS Hot Rod, his wings and fins from a Classics 2.0 Acid Storm. I kept the rounded look of the nose cone that was his hand held weapon but did not mod as well as I could have, so it sits upward a bit, but nothing that will break your heart. His gun is from a 1/100 Gundam 00 Arios model kit. His knife is from a 1/100 MG Gundam Astray Blue Frame ver 2.View the Custom Gallery Here

I've got a weird question. Does anyone have any tips for painting figures lighter colors, like specifically white, orange or yellow? I've done a handful of re-paints but the hues I normally use are military shades and extreme darks and metallizers. The one time I've tried to repaint a figure using mostly white...well, it was a dismal failure, and at this point the color itself is intimidating. I'm thinking about repainting the ROTF wheelsnake triplets completely and I just wanted to see if anyone has any tips they would like to share.
