Upgrades

this a 8 in ko of the original rm01 seen right. i added extra articulation in the knees. i am still looking for the right head but atleast its normal height now. i added gundam hands and sanded down the side of his leggs to make his waiste look right. i have to look for the right grill to add. other than what you see i did a lot of finish sanding of manufactureing defects to make parts fit right. still a ways to go but adding the knees changed the figure so i figured i would show a sneak peek :tflaugh

Wreck-Gar would have to be the final character from G1 that I do not have a bot to update with. I was looking over the new Animated Prowl for a possible mold, resculpted head and repaint might help: http://www.seibertron.com/toys/fullsize.ph...=1&image=48 But I am afraid that he will be too "animated" looking to fit in with the Classics. Hi everyone, Just wanting to poll and ask everyone your view point of kitbash/repaints. As I can see that companies like JD prod produces kits, weapons, repaints of G1 homage for sale and another of the MP trailor, how many of you would actually go and buy one? The question I want to pose is that would you buy one? Would you buy a original tf product but is kitbashed or repainted by a fan and put on sale? For people who wouldn't buy, the reasons i can think of are like no more price value; not original anymore; no point buying kitbash/repaint coz so expensive, etc. For people who would buy, reasons may be like it looks much better then the original color sc…

Well this was predictable .... i've decided to make a side project: a beetle that transforms into a better incarnation of a g1 bumblebee then the classic one.... this has been on my mind for quite a while and i,ve decided to make one !!! this is the EARLY pictures of both modes and note that allot of changes are coming to it and will be a vey beautiful piece !!! (note this is just a 8 hours old project so be gentle ;) ) hope you like it !!!

UPDATED AT END OF THREAD. THANKS I had almost ditched this one, but after working on the arms tonight, he's back on board. :) The kit came with marlboro decals which would be kind of cool to have a diaclone version of him but not that cool. eh, we'll see how that goes. the legs and arms come from classics mirage. the head and feet are cast from energon downshift. the feet joints are bionicle. shoulder joints came from classics firebot and cybertron clocker. door flap joints came from classics divebomb. and :wtf yes, he tranforms...for now. anyway here he is. thanks for lookin'
