Upgrades

He's almost done. Since my other thread was locked but friendly individuals were still talking to me about other things in it about my custom i am creating another. To others please dont start a bicker-fest in thsi thread too, theres simply no need for it. If you havnt got anything nice to say then please dont say anything at all This guy is almost finished but i am going away for four days so i wont be able to get it totally done until mid-next week. I'll upload gallery quality photos then though as these wip photos kinda suck. (damn camera flash) Thanks for looking and happy easter!

Since the actual Energon Prowl was horrible, while Energon Bulkhead was a helicopter cursed with a lime green colouring job and Yosemity Sam mustache...

The War Within Shockwave based on Don Figueroa's concept art. It's scratchbuild from styrene. Some of you may remember I started this guy 2 years ago. It was put on hold for about a year and I've finally able to finish it. He appears blue in some of the pics. Those were taken without flash because flash sometimes cover the details. I've included a couple pics using flash and the color is purple which is the true color in real life. I've also included a couple of pics showing the lighting (which can be turned on by pressing the button on top of his left forearm).

I used the head of hero Megatron on G2 Dreadwing, and it fit perfectly! They have the same plug and screw system to attach the head... like they were meant for each other. The idea came to me from the IDW comics, that use a Megatron mold that transforms into a flying wing kind of plane. I remembered reading that Hasbro wanted to repaint Dreadwing into Megatron at the end of the G2 line and never did. The rest is history...

Was gonna wait until the gallery is up on transtopia so I can link it here, but since the guy is on vacation, I will just go ahead and post some sample pics of my latest kitbash. I know repaints/kitbashes of Alt Smokes is done to death but thats all I can get my hands on (until today when I got my hands on Hound). Coming along as I planned...

First three fixes! Wreckage torso fix: This fix is to keep his chest from automorphing up after you've transformed him. Basically you make a connector between the bottom of his chest and the top of the gun that protrudes. Drill a small hole and insert/glue a plastic peg. Drill a hole on the top of the gun that lines up with the peg. Hold gun after automorphing and push the chest down, it stays in place now. Brawl shoulder fix: This fix keeps Brawls arms from swinging down after transforming him. Locate the tabs on the side of the tank turret. Drill/file a groove in the top of them. Locate the holes they snap in to and drill a groove towards the back…
