Thats really a sweet alteration for old smokescreen. I'm gonna have to keep my eyes peeled for a 1:24 WRX model somewheres. Usually all I see is diecast models...

Was gonna wait until the gallery is up on transtopia so I can link it here, but since the guy is on vacation, I will just go ahead and post some sample pics of my latest kitbash. I know repaints/kitbashes of Alt Smokes is done to death but thats all I can get my hands on (until today when I got my hands on Hound). Anyways, its my reincarnation of Thundercracker seeker jet (story behind it can be found on Transtopia when the gallery is up) inspired by the Mitsubishi Eclipse seen in The Fast and the Furious.

 

Some details: In staying true to the Alt/BT line, the dual exhaust/mufflers in bot mode is converted into the trademarke G1 seeker arm blasters in bot mode. The nitrous oxide canister (stored in the rear compartment in car mode) can be used as a hand grenade in bot mode. The ground affects and rear spoiler is from a 1/24 scale Subaru WRX model kit which came w/a tuner kit.

 

And I named him DownForce.

That is PIMP!

Reminds me of Go-Bot Soundwave.

 

A Soundwave head would rock on that body, maybe an engine that turns into Lazerbeak and some more blue for balance (even though GB Soundwave was green).
